Brook lasted 4 rounds 1 minute and 57 seconds or a total of 13 minutes and 57 seconds - not including the rest in-between rounds.
Will Jacobs outlast him against GGG?
GGG will not have the luxury to sit back and analyze.
If you think Brook is better than Jacobs you need to log off and go soak your head in something besides vodka:lol1:
You are a disturbed individual but I respect that you have an opinion. Sorry if mine and most of the group on this forum don't agree with it. You'll grow up someday.
GGG fights this fight similar to the Lemieux fight, using the jab and setting up his shots methodically while being more defensive, respecting the power of Jacobs. After 8-9 rounds of breaking him down to the body he finishes him off or the corner stops it... 9 th round TKO for GGG.
I dont see golovkin going all out the first two rounds, he will be trying to impose his jab and get some timing on jacobs.
After that i dont see how this goes after 6 or 7 rounds. For both..i even see a good shot from jacobs before round 5.he needs to go for the body
Jacobs has to be mindful of defense. Mora only has 26% KO ratio and he knocked him down after he got complacent, if he does the same against GGG it could be a short night. He's got the power to hurt GGG but he should really try to rile him up during the build up so that GGG over-commits early, going for a KO but leaving himself open, giving Jacobs chance to land some bombs which could change the course of the fight.
Hard to say but I think Jacobs comes out fighting cautiously but all it takes is that one shot to the chops from ggg and it could be lights out, also Jacobs could possibly hurt ggg but I doubt he drops him.
I expect Golovkin to fight more cautious than he did vs Brook, also expect Jacobs to be less aggressive than Brook was. In the first round, Golovkin almost scored a knock down on Brook (should've been a knock down), and after than Brook went for broke.
I see Danny fighting off the back foot like he did vs Lorenzo. That should buy him some rounds. If he tries to stand toe to toe, he goes out like Rubio.
Agree. Golovkin will spend a little time analyzing Jacobs. If he thinks Jacobs can't get to him, he'll cut him off and start the punishment. I don't think Jacobs is better than Brooks. However unlike Brook he is a natural MW so he might pose some initial problems for GGG but he won't hold up when Golovkin starts touching him.

so you're telling me that 5'6 Lemieux has better boxing skills than Jacobs?
WOW!
The opposite he is not Lemieux, meaning he is not like Lemieux at all. Since we all know Lemieux can't really box, that make Jacobs the opposite a guy that can box.
Longer and while I am suspect of Jacobs defensive abilities I don't think Golovkin can just box Jacobs without Jacobs landing some big shots in return because Golovkin too has suspect defense and Jacobs is no Lemieux in the boxing skills department.
Golovkin is much better off being aggressive, which I assume he will figure out during the fight that will also give Jacobs chances but if Jacobs can't win the fight in those moments he will probably lose. Still even if he doesn't win the fight in those situation they will take the steam out of Golovkin for a spell which will extend the fight.
does gggee have one punch ko power or does he accumulate punishment?
Wear you down power I think, Jacobs is no slouch so GGG will have to fight intelligently this time around he didn't have to do that with Brook.
Longer. I expect a Lemiuex type fight, although with Danny more competitive. I think Golovkin will try and box more and maybe turn up the pressure later in the fight, or try and have Danny walk into something. I don't think he goes all out like he did against Brook.
Of course Jacobs will last longer than Brooks, GGG didnt have to respect Brooks power. Brook hit GGG clean but it didnt hurt him just got him out of rhythm. Jacobs on the other hand can hurt him and definitely get him out of there. Jacobs has a chance but I think GGG's ring generalship will prevail for a Championship rd stoppage.
Are you joking this is the most eagerly anticipated fight of all time it is impossible to call the winner right now, I slightly favor Jacobs because he can take a punch and Golovkin is not knocking the entire division over.
Lol! Well done
I think Jacobs will last longer because of the danger he poses to an attacking GGG. That said, I still think he gets figured out and knocked out in ten or less. He will not hurt GGG because he will simply not land clean enough.
Hmmmmmm.... shiet I gotta think on it some more
:lol1:
Usually this would be a momentous fight the no.1 vs the no.2 guy in the division but it's a poor fight, said it before the most exciting part of a GGG fight is calling the round he stops his opponent, this will be no different. I'll say it's over in 5-6 rounds. Jacobs has enough power to keep GGG honest for a few rounds, and he moves well enough to potshot the ferocious feral beast in front of him.

I say yes. Jacobs' chin is not 'questionable' like the idiots say, and Golovkin is not Julian Jackson. He accumulates punishment.
Plus, I give Jacobs 30% chance to win.
