Floyd fights at a low intensity level, has busted hands and is smaller and less strong. If they boxed maybe he'd do it fast but not in 3 minutes. Switching rules back and forth is absurd and would stop the fight from developing. No reason for Floyd to fight under mixed rules he doesn't have any experience there so it wouldn't go well for him. Letting Connor learn to box makes more sense to me.
