We have a black guy named "money" and "pretty boy". So I don't think anyone is going be limited from being called a "matrix" just because they are black.
There sure is a lot of racial paranoia going about.
I say it is about time these Caucasian Ukrainians stopped coming over to the United States and taking all the praise away from black Cubans.
When I watched the the super six tournament, they called Andre Dirrell The Matrix....
I don't know or care how he got the nickname, but I watched that tournament and they called Dirrell The Matrix...
Most boxers come up with their own names for marketing purposes anyway... It's completely inconsequential as to where they got the name when they're telling the public he's The Matrix...
Rigo's just upset that Lomachenko's getting shine and pulling the race card to persuade people to stop the recognition of Lomachenko's skills...
Own it, that's what's going on here.
They called him the matrix because that's what he named himself. If i'm not mistaken Rigo is complaining because they just started calling Loma that out of nowhere where as other boxers that have shown similar if not better skills wouldn't be called that. That's the whole point of his complaint, so it does matter that Dirrell named himself that as opposed to others just calling Loma that
I love loma but all of a sudden HBO loves the hit and not get hit style, when Floyd or rigo does it, its boring. if loma walters went the distance with a shut out and not much action due to walters being scared to throw punches, it would be praised. I guess that's what hes saying. but can he speak English?
There's a huge difference in how Loma an Rigo do things. Loma is never in a boring fight, there's the biggest difference.
Hey Rigo,
Stop inciting racism and do your homework before you make stupid comments like that !!!
Answer me this Rigo, you mentioned Andre Ward, Right ???
You must be familiar with his career, Right ???
Andre Ward busted out in the Super 6, Right ???
Andre Dirrell was in the Super 6, Right ???
That's Andre "The Matrix" Dirrell, Right ???
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't Andre "THE MATRIX" Dirrell Black, Right ???
Some boxing historian you've turned out to be.... Must be that Awesome Cuban education system Colin Kaepernick was describing at work here ............

Plus, the word matrix is used for a substance that covers an entity. Just like the web that covers caterpillars during their metamorphosis period to be a butterfly.
how long was lomachenko cool with the demographic before he became a racist villain? 2 days?
the matrix smh he think we dont know what that REALLY mean smh :nonono:
what the fvck is the demographic?? wtf is wrong with ya'll?? when did all these racial slurrs become cool?? this entire thread is fvcking stupid and fill with idiots
Lol! They called (black) Dirrell the matrix first you absolute twit!
Pick that name instead of the jackal if you want it you DB!
You fight more like a deer than a jackal.
Change your name!!!

Um Dirrell gave himself that name. Big difference

I guess what he's tryna say is HBO all of the sudden loves the "hit and not be hit" style when they spent more than a decade sh*tting on Floyd over it. At least that's how I interpret this tweet. For example go back and listen to their commentary of Mayweather/Baldomir, that sh*t was just brutal and classless.
They kept sh*tting on Floyd for one simple reason..he simply would not get hit.
He was catching Baldomir with everything in the arsenal and barely got touched for 12 rounds, but instead of appreciating a flawless display of skills, they ripped him to shreds.. Now keep in mind Baldomir outweighed Floyd on fight night by 13 lbs (162 vs 149), now fast forward to how they keep making excuses for Loma losing to Salido because he was outweighed on fight night.. I say all that to say this, if Loma was toying with a guy who was 13 lbs heavier for 12 lopsided rounds, the HBO crew would never utter the word "boring". .and that's the point I guess Rigo is trying to make.
Now I'm more inclined to say it's more of an HBO thing, not necessarily a white/black thing because Emmanuel Steward was the harshest Floyd critic that night. .but I highly doubt Steward would've labeled Loma a boring piece of sh*t for outclassing a bigger man. . I can very easily say Loma vs Walters was boring, I mean it wasn't competitive, it was simply one guy doing target practice on a stationary target, even Max said the athletic competition was finished, basically we all knew Walters was done but HBO was just in awe seeing Loma tee off on him..so why is that exciting for one guy and boring for another.
That's just my take on Rigo's tweet.
