Lennox Lewis beats any heavyweight in the history of boxing, with his combination of style, size and physical strength. Some might have a punchers chance, but more times then not he beats anybody.
Will people every accept that fact?
Yet the one time they fought, Vitality was stopped because his face was torn open by Lewis's punches. And Lewis was an overweight 38 year old.
Amazing how many ignore the fact it was actually Lennox that caved Vitali's face in.
Hey idiot..Joe Louis was flat flooted, slow, barely over 200 pounds and fought in the ****ing 1930s...welcome to reality.
Joe Louis couldn't even beat Tyson Fury.
Smh you must be mentally challenged
I believe lennox was the greateast HW of his era but he aint taking a prime joe louis no one is , ali would of tired him out too lennox got easily gassed, prime liston vs lennox would of been amazing.

No, shot faded Mike Tyson won the first round against Lennox Lewis but that's all that he had was one round of energy. If Mike was in his prime Lewis would've been in trouble.

There isn't a significant age gap between vitali and lennox. lennox is like 5.5 years older. He got his booty tapped.
He is a monster head to head.
He isn't necessarily your favourite heavyweight fighter but deep down in the pit of your stomach, you know to pick against him in almost any head to head would be a mistake.
vitali taps that booty 9/10

Lennox's legacy is hurt by the fact that:
1) He was easily KOd twice by two journeymen.
2) He also lacks a true career defining fight. His best wins are over Tyson (old/over the hill and hadnt had a big win against a top heavyweight in years), Holyfield who was past his best and quite frankly tailor made for Lewis, and Vitali who was actually on his way to defeating Lewis before getting stopped by a fluke cut.
Lewis was a very good talent, but he had quite a bit of flaws. He isnt the unbeatable force that the OP is making him out to be.
Lewis under Steward got so much better and had a lot of tools.
But those KO loses to McCall and Rahman at the peak of his career don't make him the sure thing if he faced other top guys.
So you're telling me Rahman and McCall (both 6'2" journeymen) can beat Lewis but Ali (6' 3"), Foreman (6' 4"), Liston (6' 1"), Holmes (6' 4"), Norton (6' 3") would all be to small and not enough skills for Lewis?
I think the topic about size is more about weight than height. There are 6 footers that fight welterweight. Cmon man. Sharpen those critical thinking skills.
Plus he was losing to Vitali Klitschko before Vitali was forced to stop via doctor stepping in, If that carried on Vitali would have went on to beating Lennox Lewis.
Stylistically Lennox Lewis isn't unbeatable I also thought that Ray Mercer should hold a win over LL who in my opinion outworked/outhussled Lewis through the majority of the fight.
A good fighter but nope definitely wouldn't go unbeaten all the way through time, If Marciano was a bit bigger I'd definitely favour him to beat Lewis the only reason I don't is because Marciano is more of a light heavy or a cruiser at best.
Hmm I see, good post and I'll take your word for it. I never really followed the heavyweight division myself, I always found it boring until Iron Mike came on the scene.
I guess you can label LL as a glass cannon, big power but no chin.
He is a top heavyweight no doubt, but he got KO by two journeymen and that's what hurts his legacy.

For once I actually agree with you, all the names would beat Lewis and beat him comfortably. You can also add the likes of Lyle, Prime Tyson and Frazier to the list imo
