Do you think December will be Bernard's final fight or is there more

I love Hopkins. He is such a great fighter and a good man. He is inspirational especially to an old guy like me. He promised his mother he would retire on his 40th birthday and he has had a 50th birthday and is still fighting. He doesn't need to fight for money since he is a wealthy man with a partnership in GoldenBoy and a job with HBO and no bad habits to drain his bank account. I would love to see him win in style and retire for good without the brain damage that often happens to fighters who stay too long. Knowing Hopkins he might not retire if he wins.

Bernard has nothing left to prove. I believe this will be his last fight.

Honestly, I think Bernard will go out a champion. I think Bernard will fight aquacknis chickenson in 2017 and retire the way we all know Bernard should retire. Chickensons next opponent will be Hopkins, or Ward if he beats elieder Alvarez. Haymon and Golden Boy are in open war against each other; why in the heck would Stevenson give Hopkins the chance to do anything? Hopkins is 50 years, showed that he was basically done with his output in the Kovalev fight, and HBO is giving Hopkins the opportunity to close out his career on HBO Championship Boxing. The run is over

I believe Hopkins when he says this will be his fight. I think the Kovalev fight was a reality check for him.

I disagree bro I believe him that it will be his last night. I know stranger things have happened in boxing, and Hopkins is an exception to many things, but my gut tells me to believe his retirement even if he wins and looks good.
