What a fight!!! I'd like to say RESPECK to both Ward and Kovalev. Saturday night showed what we've come to love about boxing. The best fighting and risking it, against the best. Now on to the fight itself.
There are a lot of upset fans and so called fans all around the world right now. Why? Because Ward rose off of the canvas in the second round, to win the fight. I knew Ward would go down early, until he adjusted to Sergio's punch. But once he got up, he was fine and took his power shots well, for the rest of the fight. The fight played out pretty much how I expected, honestly. Kovalev is a bully. Ward is a fighter you do not bully or KO. He is tough as nails. Sergio came out and won the first two rounds, clearly. In the 3rd round, the fight started to change into Ward's favor. From that point on, how many CLEAR rounds could you give Kovalev? All of you "upset" fans do not know how to score rounds. Y'all think just because Ward got knocked down, he was supposed to lose the fight. Nope. That's not how it works. Ward reduced Sergio to single jabs and the occasional right hand after the knock down. He neutralized his attack with his ring IQ, defense, and movement. Sergio would put Ward in headlocks and lean on his neck. He did it so much that a stern warning should've been issued but it wasn't. His idea of "in fighting", was holding and not actually letting his hands go. Why? Because he cannot fight on the inside and needs ROOM to hurt you. Down the stretch, he faded a bit from ward's defense, will, and body attack. He hurt Sergio a couple of times as well. Ward is now a HOF'mer and a rematch is necessary. In my opinion, Ward is now the best fighter in boxing. Manny is second, and GGG is third. GGG NEEDS to be in a fight like this. He needs to challenge himself against someone who can actually beat him. Guess who that guy is? Canelo! He will beat GGG WHEN they fight. The same guys who said Ward was ducking Kovalev, or wouldn't fight him, are the same guys who think Canelo won't fight GGG. Well, guess what??? HE IS GOING TO FIGHT HIM IN 2017 AND BEAT HIM!!!!!! You heard it here first. Actually I have been saying it for a while now.
Let's hear some intelligent opinions here. I don't wanna hear from boxing "noobs" or fanboys.
A paragraph can be as short as a word or as long as 250 words or more. It may consist of just one sentence or many sentences. The literary essay may be composed of long paragraphs. J.C. Tressler and Claude E. Lewis say that the average length of a paragraph is 100 to 150 words for ordinary writing; about 60 for business letters; and about 75 for newspaper reports .
According to some plain English experts, a plain paragraph is no more than four to six sentences long. They also feel that a paragraph of more than four or five lines can make a text less readable .
In terms of sentences, a plain paragraph has four to six sentences. Since the average sentence length is about 17 words, a plain paragraph has 68 to 102 words. But online texts need short paragraphs of 40 to 50 words, translating to three sentences or less. In terms of lines, a plain paragraph has four or five lines.
In terms of lines, a plain paragraph has four or five lines. Each line has eight to ten words or 40 to 50 characters. A simple arithmetic division confirms that the average length of a word is five characters. This independently confirms the letter-word part of the equation 1 x L (letters) = 3 x S (syllables) = 5 x W (words), discussed in my article titled ‘Syllable, Word And Sentence Length’ at Readability Monitor. If we assume that the syllabic part of the equation is also true, then each line has about 13 to 17 syllables.
For those who need only the guidelines, here they are:
* The average line length is 40 to 50 characters; 13 to 17 syllables; and eight to 10 words.
* The plain paragraph is four to six sentences; four or five lines; and 68 to 102 words. But the online paragraph must be short consisting of 50 words or less; and three sentences or less.
