He has three losses on his record.
He got robbed in Switzerland against Francesco Pianeta. He got robbed in Germany against drug-cheat Erkan Teper. And he gave Deontay Wilder one of the toughest tests of his career.
His record should read 36-1 (21 KO).
Do not be surprised if this man wins a title in the oncoming alphabet sweepstakes of the next 24 months.
I saw him fight Wilder. I thought he looked OK but not top 10 worthy. I believe more than 10 heavyweights fighting today would beat him.Maybe he deserves to be in the top 20.
Are we talking about top 10 contenders? then yes, he belongs there..
Top 10 HWs at the moment? - hell no..
Duhaupas has a good chin & that has been proven time & again.. He is not elite & that has been proven too.. He will go the distance with most guys because of his chin & he would against most journeymen but not against top 10 guys..
There's two potential rematches, If both Duhapas and Wilder win, and if both Takam and Povektkin win
ah yea i missed it,Povetkin-Takam was great doe so i wont be mad.
ah ok thats good too. Although dont really need to see Duhuapas vs Wilder again
After Povetkin he probably wont have belt.:boxing:

I wouldn't say he's elite. There is a lot of names being thrown around with potential title shots coming up who Duhaupas has the beating of. Particularly Shannon Briggs, Lucas Browne and Andy Ruiz, Jr. He would also be a serious, stern test for Anthony Joshua or Joseph Parker.
Its ok.
The reason i wanted one of these guys for AJ is that are a good intro to world level boxing (which he hasnt had yet). Povetkin and Wilder have already had that (povetkin has a really good resume recently especially)
Agree that its not good situation ,especialy if Wilder win with Povetkin it would be boring to see 2nd fight with Duh,AJ should take on Takam or Parker after Molina, good fights for him to jump on higher level.

I agree that Duhaupas is underrated, but he is no world beater, i think the thing that really makes him underrated is his chin, he has a monster chin that took Wilders (biggest puncher in boxing) best shots for 11 rounds
He is however lacking in the other compartments, hes a solid fighter as u said but he wont be elite, his chin is kinda carrying him tbh, but his chin is made outta iron mane
What about Duhuapas vs new WBC champ Povetkin, would be fun fight for sure.
Its ok.

Duhuapas vs Takam is a great fight in January. Would like to see winner matched with someone like Pulev to decide mando for AJ's IBF title
it's a wbc elimantor the winner foughts Wilder after Povetkin/Stiverne
I have ranked at 12, but before he fought Wilder he was a nobody, he beat Helenius biggest achivement in his career, a guy Teper ducked so he's a really good fighter but I can't see him beating the Big Boys (Fury, Wlad, Povetkin, Wilder, Joshua, Pulev, Parker, Ortiz, or Haye)
He won bronze after fighting nobody tbf. They give out 2 bronzes for each weight class. Its not that much of an achievement in world level boxing terms
But he was 1/2 ,i watched Final this year and it wasnt any good),also AJ is gold medalist and his boxing is not so good,do AJ know what is Jab?
Ofc his not,Olympic HW boxing is a joke,this guy won a medal:trink26:

wilder looked terrible in all his title defenses cept arreola who was completely shot. maybe he's just not that good?

If you watch any official highlight reels, they just show Wilder teeing off. It's a mystery how his face got so busted up.
