Lemieux has a better shot at winning, but Monroe is more likely to be close, if that makes sense.
Yea i think i get you,Lamule can Ko Canelo but its bigger chance that his gonna get KTFO,as For Willy it would be closer but UD for ginger.i put it in simple way for you.
monroe would school him but get robbed so obv they don't want that fight because it will make canelo look bad on top of not selling any ppv's. canelo would prob ko lemiuex
I think neither has much of a chance and Canelo will win most of the rounds and knock them both out in 10 rounds or less. I give Lemieux a better chance to win because of his vicious, fast two handed attacking style and his wicked punching power. Monroe doesn't have the punching power to hurt Canelo. Monroe is a good boxer but not good enough to outbox Canelo. Add in Canelo's great body punching and fast, accurate powerful combinations and you have a KO loss for Monroe or Lemieux.
Both men would give Canelo problems. Much more problems than Canelo's last four tailor-made opponents: the chinny, inactive and utterly hittable Kirkland, the undersized glass-chinned Khan, a favorable style matchup against the smaller Cotto and Liam Smith (no explanation needed here).
Canelo has never fought anyone with Lemieux's size and power. Willie Monroe just stylistically would probably make him look bad or at least average. He has good footwork, good upper-body movement and he's a decent-sized middleweight. Both are worthier challengers than at least three of the last four Canelo's opponents.
yep, both Lemmy and Willie would be real tests for Canelo @160.

Canelo is a very good fighter with lots of SUPPORT. You have to literally KTFO him to get the victory in Texas or even Vegas.
Not true. In Texas and Vegas fighters like Macklin, Rubio, Geale and Rosado are looked at as the warriors they truly are. Canelo would be in for a tough night.
Adama, Curtis Stevens, Kell Brook, Wade... They all have great chances at beating Canelo. Alvarez would be a huge underdog in Vegas, that's for sure.

Monroe Jr looooooooooool
Anyway, seriously, Lem has a great chance if the fight is at 160. If Canelo makes Lem sweat down and he finds it difficult enough to make 160 then Lem will be drained of his strength and stopped.
Yeah, I also have the feeling Lemieux is having a hard time to make 160 lbs. 158 or even 159 lbs would take a lot from him.
Neither of them, one because he has no jab/ head movement with a questionable chin. The other because he doesn't possess any power and likes to fight with his right hand hanging low, which is why Golovkin already knew the left hook was the best weapon of choice. Canelo has a versatile left hook, I'd pick Canelo to stop both.
Maybe Canelo beats both but only a true match @160lbs can tell us.
I agree, Monroe, Adama and Brook are the only fighters to give Golovkin problems but they can't keep it up due to Golovkin's power, Monroe could probably beat every brawler at 154-160, maybe if Lemiuex lands a clean shot he KO's Monroe but no way he outboxes Monroe
Lemmy couldn't drop Fabian Rios, so I doubt he would K.O Monroe. From a stylistically point Canelo would probably choose Lemieux as a fight preparation for GGG.
If Canelo will fight one of these fighters next , who has the better chances of beating him or at least making a close fight ??

And honestly, does anyone even think they'd ever in a million years give a decision to Monroe over Canelo anyway? The cards will be 117-111 before the fight even starts. We already saw that vs Trout where most logical people had it close and the scores were almost a shutout lol...
