Showtime is not a licensed promoter, so they cannot bid for themselves. All they can do is the same thing Haymon does, which is to tell Lou how much he is allowed to bid........... Of course, Dibella is promoting Jacobs, but the money are actually from Showtime (they announced already that they are interested in this bid).

Why does this lie keep getting repeated? He was knocked out by a picture perfect punch from a big time hitter in Pirog, and got caught out of balance when he was swinging with Mora. I want this fight to happen very much. As of now I have heard no new news on this fight.

GGG is scared cuz Jacobs is black.GGG has already fought at least a dozen black fighters so your statement makes no sense. GGG is ready to fight right now for the money a purse bid gives him. It's Jacobs who is talking about tune up fights and wanting the WBA to pay him more money than usual. If this fight doesn't happen it will be Jacobs who kills it, not GGG. GGG fears no middleweight.

HBO should let GGG accept the dumb amount if he agrees to give them half of it to put back into their boxing budget. I think this comes down to greed on Jacobs part as he and his other cohorts at Al Haymon's stable have been spoilt and clearly feel they are worth more than they actually are. Haymon has fücked things up for everyone. This all said I really don't care for Jacobs vs GGG anyway it's a mismatch, GGG should move up this is just another guess the round GGG stops his opponent as is a potential BJ Flounders and Cameltoè match up, put all those guys against each other with GGG excluded you have some exciting fights, I know which fights I would prefer.

While this is an important fight, it shouldn't be this complicated to make. I second that.. Tom wanted the bid to happen before the deadline, so that tells me that both teams would probably wait till the bids.. Hopefully K2 wins, that way it will be on HBO & Golovkin won't have contract issues & the fight can still be made by end of Dec or mid Jan..
