We have a new desktop style being tested. It was partially tested in the lounge, but now open for testing before we make it live.
You can switch to it below under the style "testing new." As always, if we decide to switch over to this style the old style will still be available for anyone to select.
This style adapts to the screen of those who use a tablet device like an Ipad or a smaller laptop, while making things a bit wider for those with big screens.
We've also made several adjustments on the style based on user feedback.
So, when you select "Testing New" it sends you to the mobile version? That's what mine looks like when I select Testing New.
I dont select anything. Testing New comes up when I go to desktop and mobile version automatically comes up when I go on my android or iphone.
On my mobile it redirects to the mobile version

Not too sure I follow you. I was just under the impression that you guys implemented the media query into the code so that it would display correctly on mobile devices. Anyway, this is how it looks on my phone:

Cheers.

It's not really meant to used on a phone. That's why the mobile style kicks in, but the old style is still available for switch

So I decided to test the new version on my phone today and it looks like a hot mess. Not optimized at all. I'll post screenshot later.

I had that same issue when I was missing the font called Verdana. It's pretty common. For some odd reason it went missing once or twice.
There are plenty of places to download free Verdana fonts and you can add them to your system quite easily.

Awesome, thx. Going to download it now. :fingersx:
Ah, interesting. Sounds feasible. I'll look into it. Thx.

The only thing I believe, and I have to check on this, is that your system is missing a specific font that's being used.
I remember something like that happened to me more than once when I lost a font.

I cropped and zoomed to help illustrate the differences. For some reason, the font is not the same as yours. Yours looks just like the old font used to for me. When I type a post, it shows the old font while I'm typing, but then the new (bolder) font when it posts. Maybe there's some weird setting in my Win7 that's causing it to read differently. However, no other forums I go to have changed like this at all. Wonder if anyone else is getting this.

Even your direct link is very small. Is that the actual size of your browser or is your resolution small?

Edit, can't see it well because it's compressed but here's a direct link. Don't know why it has zero detail. It' looks much cleaner on my screen.
Don't know why it's showing up so small;

Yours looks great!
Strange, I use a 42" TV for my PC as well and the fonts (and certain graphics) shrunk!
It's less noticeable on Android chrome in desktop view because of the re-sizing but one positive I'm noticing is that the buttons (which were really unresponsive before) seem to be behaving much better. Major positive.
This is what it looks like for me.
