....theres a part of me that hopes GGG tells them to take the belt and stick it up their arse and let Jacobs go fight Mora for a 3rd time for 500k
I really want to see GGG-Jacobs, and I would like to see GGG ultimately unify the titles, but this is ridiculous.
Everyone is running their mouths about who deserves what, and blah blah blah. Send it to bid under the current rules and lets see what happens.
HAHAHAHA are you really serious with this? What planet are you on..... If anything Jacobs should jump at the opportunity so people will actually know who he is. Have you seen the google search chart?

What a joke.
So it's beneficial for both what's your point?
Quillin is not better than all of his opponents, I don't understand how someone can watch boxing and say something that stupid. From the time Quillin won the WBO to the time he can't flatten by Jacobs, he did jack **** but look lousy. Lemieux looked better against the same foes and was actually coming off an important win.
Quillin was a hype job with very little experience and but a little natural talent. Once he became lazy and unwilling to learn he became a subpar fighter.
Are we suppose to pretend he didn't get a gift draw against Lee the same year. or that Rosado was kicking his ass before the shaky stoppage? Or maybe that he fought a
He was allowed to sit on top of the #2 position because of hype, a position he only gained because better fighters moved up or lost to other fighters. He spent 3 years fighting fighters outside the top ten and looked like ****. He finally does fight a top ten opponent and gets a draw.
At best you can say he has a win equal to Golovkin best win but the quality drops off a cliff from there. Truax, Mora, Fletcher none top ten middleweights.
Your comparing champions and legit contenders to journeymen, GTFO friend with that nonsense. Golovkin's resume is leagues above Jacobs.
Yea Quillin is better. Who on GGG's resume beats him??? Really gift draw with lee?? I think you got that backwards bro or did you forget that one of the scorecards was wrong( BS KD but KD none the less)..Also too how long was Quillins lay off before Lee??? Exactly
so Monroe( who he fought instead of Lara), Wade(Mando but still) and Brook(who he dragged up 2 weight classes) are world beaters..... please stop
I know you like GGG, I do too but don't treat him like a god or something it's not healthy.
It would be disrespectful of the WBA to make an exception for Jacobs. That said, Golovkin would be damaging his brand to step away from the Jacobs fight and to vacate his title. Maybe not so much if he had a quality opponent to replace Jacobs with, but he doesn't really. Even if he had to face Jacobs at parity, it'd ultimately be worth it. After that fight, Jacobs will be a crumpled body on the canvas and Golovkin will move forward with his career to face BJS or Rameriz next, then ultimately Canelo with a better split for having taken a tough fight and being victorious.
WBA is a joke already for giving Haymon an extension....If Al wants to give Jacobs his 3 million he can and still try to win the purse bid....he just knows he shouldn't because he ain't worth ****...Jacobs is no draw, doesn't have the media or fan goodwill and can't generate money....he has no leverage to force the split he wants....other than uncle al buttering up the WBA.
Jacobs thinks he's worth more than $2m lmao what a joke, fight aint happening
exactly. And these clowns defend it, yet cannot point out a single example of a non-heavyweight mandatory challenger getting over $2 million.......
Why do you give a sh1t about who makes what??? dont you just want to see the fight? why are fans so caught up with how much money the fighters get?? who fvcking cares?
I'm sure you said the same thing when pacquiao wanted more money to fight mayweather in 2010.
GGG fanboys support him being a businessman, but don't support others when they want to do the same. Fucking hypocrites.
Pricing yourself out is not being a businessman. Usually you end up making less. And dropping belts to avoid mandos is business best avoided
And before Oscar, Floyd couldn't crack 400k in PPV sales and Pac couldn't hit 3 but they still sold 2.4 and 1.5 Mil when the fought. What I'm trying too say is Jacobs raises GGG profile, combine this with GGG's boogeyman status and Jacobs redemption story and power and you get money.

What a joke.
I think he lives in a dream world where he promotes Golovkin. Probably has a Tom Loefler shrine in his mom's basement.
mom made me take the shrine down because she said it made her uneasy
They're not similar but GGG isn't leagues ahead of him. GGG has the better overall resume but Quillin; love or hate is better then all of GGG's opponents.
Floyd was p4p #1 so was PAC and they took less money for Dela Hoya, so champ and prestige mean squat in the face of numbers sometimes.... GGG isn't that much ahead of Jacobs so make a few concessions, beat him and earn your a better deal in negotiations with Nelo... that's right Jacobs is an asset too GGG in terms of future monetary earning.... Jacobs has just enough hype around him too be perceived a threat Golovkin to the public with his demolition of Quillin and his only lose being too Proto Golovkin( Which can easily be explained away). Instead of a fight, GGG should consider it an investment...

Are you a businessman?
Nope. Businessmen like making money and boxing fans are about making fights. Seems this guy is neither. Dodging fights over ego, pulling out after months of training and fighting in parking lots for free.
You havent the slightest idea what you're talking about when it comes to the Guzman fight.
And as for the Bradley situation, I did not tell Nate to fight Bradley in the parking lot. I told Nate that if he felt he needed to straighten him, I had plenty of bail money on me.
Stay in your own lane......

That's fine but the money Jacobs is asking for just isn't there. Even with a 60/40 split he's not getting more than 2 Quillins. Hell Ggg is way more popular and he never made 2 Quillins except in the UK on sky ppv
I don't think Jacobs is scared but he's acting like this is the last fight of his career. If Jacob's is getting between 2 and 3 million I don't see how anyone can defend him turning that down the fight. And no I can't see Golovkin making much more than that.
Jacobs is trying to bleed the promoters dry. He wants money to appear out of nowhere. And yes I blame this on solely Jacobs. Not K2, GGG, Dibella, or Haymon but just Jacobs. I bet a million bucks Dibella and Haymon are telling Jacobs it's good money and he's like " Nope I need more than that G."
2 to 3 million is more than want Lemieux and Golovkin made when they faced one another. It more than what he made when he faced Quillin.
And the examples you used were during negotiations. This topic is on the purse bid splits. Tarver and Manny didn't go to the sanctioning buddies to request a bigger split in case of a purse bid. It Jacobs allows it to go to bid he should get the split he's entitled to.
Once again, hyperbole. I don't think he's acting like it's the last fight of his career. I honestly am not all that enthused about him getting 40% but 25% is ludicrous. Let's see what the final offers are from each side.
That's overstating it a bit. He just wants the risk to be commiserate with the reward. Manny Pacquiao nearly pulled out of the Hatton fight because he wanted more money. Antonio Tarver fought for more than 25% against Roy Jones and got it. And on and on. I doubt either was scared.
