Tarver was a very good boxer but i would still say GGG has the more talented offense. Prime RJJ was a phenomenal boxer with great speed and reflexes. GGG would probably beat both Ruiz and Tarver into submission on the same night, but prime RJJ would be a favourite against GGG.

Unless you're as athletic and elusive as Jones, a much smaller man isn't going to beat Ruiz, especially one who's style is to come forward and fight. I'm a Golovkin fan but you have to be realistic. Styles make fights and he would be badly hurt against a strong tough world level HW like John Ruiz. I cant even imagine GGG in HW let alone fighting with ruiz,with GGs frame in would be hilarious.

He adapts his style for the fighter, against lemiuex and curtis stevens he decided to box, aginst brook he decided to swarm and he decided to trade shots in middle of ring with willie munroe jr. If he was struggling against toney on the inside, he would box him from the outside. GGG would never fight tarver couse he will never fight at 175,but i can see Tarver size give him a problems ,we dont know if ggg would care his power to 175 ,he is not even KOing MWs clear .
