I posted a thread regarding the famous Ali standing over Liston picture. It was like a picture perfect moment. Larry Merchant was in it. That picture signifies that era! When you think Ali you think that Liston picture.

Is there a modern day picture of the same epicness?
The two that come to mind for me are Mayweather on the ropes after the Hatton win...I couldn't find the wide shot, but it was a surreal moment at the time....

and Pacquiao's stunning KO of Hatton...

Unfortunately Hatton was on the losing end of both, but these were iconic pictures and matches given the magnitude of Hatton's fan base.
Feel free to share others.
How about this one? when they finally met face to face in an official presser for the fight. The fight wasn't great which probably makes us forget how big a deal it was.
After all that time, it was kind of surreal watching this event.

The bottom one is a good. That definitely is up there in the UK ranks. Don't think many casuals in the US know of the magnitude of this fight. It was a great series.

Probably the most infamous fight in history.....literally ruined Durans career over night and shocked the boxing world to its core
Agreed! The moment couldn't be capture via picture. You had to see video or the fight live...Historic
This is a pretty good one...I think the fight itself is what is more historic

Agreed. In the right part of this iconic photo, we see PAC's lifeless body, being attended to by Bayless, I call the right portion "the agony of defeat".
In the left half of the same photo, Marquez is raising his fists while his feet oar on the ropes, I call the left portion, "the thrill of victory"!
Iconic to say the least. That photo went viral globally.
Word. Good stuff. That may be the top one of the last 10-20 years....
I Yea...this one is nice...
I think we all agree this is a historic one....
