I keep hearing people praise Ward's inside game but the way i see it, he resorts to clinching due to his lack of infighting ability.
Ya wanna see a real inside- fighter. Look no further than James Toney.
Andre ward is fkin boring

Come on man! Two great fighters. Both guys can bang on the inside, albeit different. Toney is a puncher through and through, he punched you from any distance, and he controlled the distance. Ward is extremely accurate, he fights from the inside and when you drop your hands he catches you going back.
Toney was a phenominal counter puncher (I know he is still fighting but I refer to him in the past tense cause he shouldn't be). Two great fighters.
Kinda funny how Ward changed his style over the years.
COming up as a prospect, he was a wannabe Roy Jones, fought with a style that was very different.

Eh, Andre Wards inside game is crafty. He throws some really short crisp shots, and his defense is on point.
He does make it a bit dirty, but his holding isn't as bad as people say.
