Austin Trout was just quoted the other day saying the same thing and I've had people tell me that 35 and 36 is not old for boxers which is far from the truth.

Theyre doing the exact same thing Top Rank did with Chavez Jr in regard to the Sergio Martinez fight. The exact same thing.

The sad thing is rather than make concessions now and get the fight that would improve or make GGG career, his team would rather he aged giving him a lesser chance of victory just because they want their monies. Instead of taking a calculated risk they don't want to. So he would be 36 or over before he gets a chance to fight Canelo which works out brilliantly in terms of what GBP are trying to do. I am a big Canelo fan but when something is as obvious as Oscar putting the fight off as long as possible why deny it. Canelo gets better with every fight and GGG just gets older so the longer they wait the better Canelo's chances of winning. Paulie just said what everybody else was already saying. Kellerman flat out accused Oscar of stalling when he interviewed Canelo in the ring right after he KOed Smith. Canelo might be the biggest money maker in boxing now and GGG is probably the only guy who can beat him and possibly knock him out. Why would Canelo's team be in a hurry to fight GGG right away?
