He needs to knock out Jacobs and Eubank first
I think the decision is easy. Fight at 160. All of the sudden BJS and Jacobs want to fight him. I think they see the money Brook made and also that Brook hit him some. I think most people tend to forget that Brook is pretty da** good. In fact he is more skilled than either of those guys. Brook gets alot of repsect in my book for that performance. Look he can fight Jacobs in New York. Golovkin has sold well there and it should be a sell out crowd. If the fight is pay per view however i am not sure. Not because of GGG , but people don't know who Jacobs is really even though he has a good story with beating cancer and all. BJS England makes a ton of sense , the Brits love boxing and respect GGG for his skills. GGG could fight Jacobs in December, BJS in March, Possibly Eubank in UK in June. Then Canelo in September. Make huge money! If he went to 168 i think the two best options would be DeGale in the UK and Zurtido in the US somewhere where alot of Latinos like GGG's come forward style. Also he is not a talker , but he backs it up with action. I am Mexicano and Mexican fighters are respected for their warrior mentality, not by talking big. However if he fought at 168 he could also fight Chavez jr. if Jr could get to 168 and got serious. Just some points.
If he wants a true legacy, to be remembered as a great, he must go to 168. Nothing wrong with staying at 160 but it's not going to be enough for earn him a notable place in boxing history.
I disagree with this. There are more notable fights for him at 160 than at 168 imo. You got BJS, Jacobs, Eubank, Canelo, Andrade, Lara, plus whoever else happens along. 168 he has DeGale, Jack, Ramiriez and Smith. Obviously a lot of what ifs or possibilities, but just looking at the potential fights, 160 is where the legacy and money will be.
If GGG was my fighter, I would want him to stay @ 160. There are more fights to be made Jacobs in Brooklyn ($ money maker), Saunders in the UK ($ money maker), & Eubanks also in the UK ($ money maker). Throw in a couple of over grown 154's & then maybe move up. But if not, he should retire undefeated. Since in this era it is more important to retire undefeated than to take more challenges. A mean it is what it is. And believe me if he retires undefeated without moving up in wgt, he will still make it to the Hall Of Fame. I think he is becoming the A-side!
There's money to be made at 160.
Canelo fight happens in 2017, as does the Jacobs fight.
The only people who want to see him move up are those who are hoping he'll get laid out by a much bigger man.

He's got a JAcobs fight which should be good and now Saunders seems anxious to fight him. Looking vulnerable vs Brook may have been good. Then Canelo says he'll fight him in 2017.
