First off mad props to Brook for getting in the ring with ggg. That said he didnt belong there.
The only round i could consider giving to brook is the second one and even then it was a close one. The crowd helped influencing the notion that brook was getting something done but hopkins should have known better.
I lol'd when hopkins said golvkin was throwing arm punches, if any one did that it was brook(arm punching combos that reminded me of juan diaz but less powerful). Then in the beginning of round 5 golovkin hit brook with a comination with so much snap it was painful to watch.
I also noticed that brook's trainer said something along the lines of "dont worry im watching every thing thats happening". Brook looked so flatfooted it wasnt even funny. This fight reminded me of Cotto/Gomez. Not that Brook is a bum like gomez, i think he and Spence where the best at ww before kell moved up. What i mean is that he didnt belong in that ring. Kell knew it and so did golovkin thats why ggg showed him no respect.
Bit hey if this ggg performance gets him the fights against canelo, saunders, jacobs, and eubank jr then so be it. It will funny to see those duckers, and their followers get derailed.
people often mistake doing better than expected with winning.
GGG is easy to hit but that's not relevant if you can't hurt him and can't last even half the fight.
Golovkin always swings wildly, he also likes to vary the intensity of his punches. Both he does to lure his opponents into a false sense of confidence and so they dont know when the accurate hard punched are coming. He didnt need to be technical and even so his jab was landing when he threw it.
But hey if you believe canelo, jacobs, saunders, or eubank can beat him you can state it. Just dont bet the house on it because you will be disappointed.
No he doesnt, not like in the brook fight, and no, i dont think any of them beat him, but i like how you leap to that conclusion because i was not impressed with him...

You giving undue praise, im a fan of both, but for me golovkin looked technically far inferior in this fight, he was swinging wildly, missing alot, more so than i have seen in any of his recent fights.
have you not seen golovkins face? he got caught with big shot's dude, his face is black and blue..
I thought Brook recovered very well from being wobbled in the first, and then took all of golovkins best shot's and was riding with most of them...
Don't try and sugarcoat the fact that golovkin was being backed up on occasion by brook (something that most other middleweights failed to do)

lmao backed up. GGG had no fear of brooks power, he was walking right into brook constantly.

Ggg is overrated ggg have no defense. If ggg wasn't bigger and stronger than everyone he would of lost those fights. Monroe was outboxing him, rosado was outboxing him. Ggg can only beat bums and so forth and so forth.
Doesn't matter what he does he won't get credit. I'm not a fan I thought the fight shouldn't have happen but theres no way brook is a better boxer than ggg. People just like to hate on ggg or downplay his greatness.
Let me repeat there is zero things that brook does better than ggg. Ggg did what he's always done is control the tempo of a match and dictate how the fight goes. We have never seen ggg in trouble yet which is sort of crazy.
