Nah the Maidana that fought Khan/Ortiz/Alexander was very raw, got gassed and didn't know what the word jab meant. that chino was on par with provo, tough but raw and gassed rather quickly, he vastly improved with garcia and a better strength and conditioning coach

Khan would have beat mayweather, as crazy as that sounds. He won the public polls ,yet little floyd chose maidonna thinking he was the easier fight. He was wrong and lost the first fight unoficially, bet he regrets that down the road when hes stuttering and sounding like his dad. I think if Floyd chose Khan over Maidana at that moment in time then Khan would have stood a good chance at beating Floyd with his bumrush style...He would have had to remember what got him to where he was though and not fully maintain the Hunter flat footed style as Floyd would have exploited off it. People laugh at it because yes Floyd is a significantly better fighter...but styles make fights.

Yeah at the time I wanted to see that fight just to see Floyd up against a different look, but in hindsight that win wouldn't have meant a great deal considering Khan is viewed as one of the biggest jokes in boxing.
