I just watched "Southpaw" (for the first time).

Southpaw would have been a lot better if they didn't give the whole plot away in the trailer. I liked Creed better. Both movies have good boxing scenes. Creed had a better story.

yeah i thought it was good! Preferred it to creed, think im in the minority though judging by reviews Nope. I liked it better than Creed as well. It was a great movie. Touching too.

i haven't seen it yet, but i've been a jake gillenhall convert for a while now. dude can f#cking act. not sure when he learned how, but somehwere between donnie darko and today he learned :lol1:. nightcrawler is another jake gillenhall movie i highly recommend. dude absolutely nailed being completely psycho. love bill paxton, the little indian kid, and rene russo, too. just a brilliantly acted movie.
