Even if Mayweather wasn't retired, when was the last time he took on a legitimate opponent? It was Pacquiao in May of 2015, following a year of fighting Maidana and then years of fighting Guerrero and Ortiz. Pacquiao in the mean time fought p4p entrant JMM, p4p entrant and top 3 welter Bradley 3 times (hammered him all 3 times, closing out his career).
