Based on last 3 fights (pointless to do this) in terms of opponents and skill combined, instead of one or the other:
Lomachenko - killing it at only his 7th fight in. unquestionable.
Fury - stopped chisora, which vitali couldn't do, then fought an entire fight in southpaw and still ko'ed hammer, then beat the best heavyweight of a generation in Wlad
Thurman - looked good against a very difficult shawn porter, showed elite movement and speed and power.
Anthony Crolla - Seems to have a new lease of life and is slaying everyone in the division as an underdog each time
Roman Gonzalez - unstoppable at his weight
All 5 have beat some of the best at their weight in a fair, clean, and skillful manner. No catchweights, no cross-division stuff either.
1. Chocolatito
2. Naoya Inoue
3. JF Estrada
4. Pacquiao
5. Terrence Crawford
REST OF TOP 11:
6. Nicholas Walters
7. Canelo
8. GGG
9. Kovalev
10. Leo Santa Cruz
11. Ward
Walters has looked pretty average in 2 of his last 3 fights unless I'm missing a bout.
Ward didnt do anything he wasn't supposed to against a middleweight journeyman in Paul Smith...are you telling me there isn't any other fighter who had a better performance and opponent and win in that time period?
Canelo, purely on a p4p basis, was getting outboxed by a former welterweight before landing a big shot and had a veryyyy close fight with Cotto which I still don't believe he won. So he is above GGG why?
Nothing starts more fights and arguments than this topic. I'll just list my current top 5 and leave so I won't have to read the insults I'll probably receive. 1 GGG 2 Gonzalez 3 Kovalev 4 Loma 5 Rigo.
