LENNOX Lewis has warned Anthony Joshua to forget about fighting Tyson Fury anytime soon. Lewis talking on Alan Brazil's Breakfast Show on talkSPORT praised 6ft 9ins Fury's speed and technique. The former boxer the last undisputed world heavyweight champion said: "He moves like Muhammad Ali. He floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee, that's what boxing is all about." Thanks for acknowledging the technical point re the physics of punching, my friend.
You picked up the potential parallel with Ali-Liston 2 as well, and I'm sure you know how experts then were dismissing the first fight as a fluke. The biggest thing we can notice here, though in my opinion, is the parallel between the days when African Americans were commonly derided with derogatory terms and our present acceptance of derogatory terms for poor white people, i.e., "pikey". How the poor Irish Gypsies are so long-acquainted with such bigotry is reflected in the fact that we can be self-deprecating and even jokingly refer to ourselves as such. We need a similar revolution as that which Ali helped for his oppressed poor folk, and Fury is part of it, no doubt, regardless of his future.
Perhaps the only the rise of really skilled athletes arising from the discriminated groups challenges us to question our stereotypes. This does actually translate into moves which were evolved since prehistoric times that even our great idol Ali never mastered. From 'the old country',from whence Marquis of Q evolved, actually.
That was very well explained however, tyson fury does not make verbal moves to defend his "people" infact, all he does is tar them with the same brush that HE himself is contaminating with slurs on either religion or sexual gender. furthermore, It would be extremely difficult (here in the uk) to warm to a group of people who in large part have a brand as thieves and tax dodgers. I have in my life met and been partially involved with this group and I cannot hold up either hand and count fingers to reflect the numbers of good people amongst them.
I personally do not believe any slurs on "irish gypsies" or "pikeys" to be racially driven at all, It is an insult for sure but, only a way of life that these days few of them (that call themselves gypsies) actually follow in terms of being a "traveller".
Wlad smashes anyone you nitwit....its the guys who try and out box him on the outside who getit the worst. Furys the only bigger out boxer hes faced that can box. A Joshua match up does not favor Wlad its that simple, when he wont be fighting a 6'2 guy like Povetkin who was smashed on the outside where all the knock downs occured, maybe watch the actual fights
Inside = Inside an opponents reach. With that said lets look at the knockdowns.

inside 2 outside 0

inside 4 outside 0
Uh Oh, I watched the "actual fight"!!!
There you go. Judgement day. Have fun thinking up a BS reason as to how I could possibly be wrong, now that factual video evidence has smashed you into a million confused pieces...
you took it off bc I made you look like a FOOL...heres more EDUCATION..on Tyson/ Joshua comparison since you brought it up...Joishua has a a 82 inch reach and is a big man/insider fighter at his disposal,so im not exactly sure why you thought Tyson..."MIKE" the real Tyson was going to make you LOOK smart?
Wlads Weakness would be that who thosae reach him...and can fluster him...I have yet to see ANYONE come to your aid and say othersise of those who THINK out boxing him on the outside is a good idea,b/c its not and even FURY landed the clear shots while pressuring him when outside ones didn't exactly land ,and he had a 85 inch reach you IDIOT,,,,so please tell me how im wrong on ANY assessment compared to your IDIOCY? lmao...You wont so tag in your other account so I can bury that one too...I wasn't comparing Tyson to AJ I was comparing JABS that you said were measured by LENGTH of effectiveness...you are literally to dumb to comprehend ...hence two accounts...
P.s did you also figure out the ankle is part of the foot ?:smashfrea
Juggernaut666 - "Wlad's weakness is come forward pressure fighters" LOL. :smashfrea NUFF SAID.
You all need to get over your little fanboy childhood crush' in Muhammad ali and mike Tyson. Those guys were great but fought in a different era. Wake up and realize todays fighters have better nutrition combined with the fact they are bigger and faster.

Working through prejudice
youre right, long arms travel further and it takes a lot to throw fast BUT, there is no comparison between Ali and this pikey...none.
We can all hop around when we know the other fighter has just frozen, why this happened to the klit we will never know but be assured the rematch will not be ali vs liston II.

:
Thats bc a big pressure fighter would have the best chance to fluster Klitchko you WORM. NO one who actually understands boxing will disagree and think outside boxers would fare better trying to out jab him ,o.k you DOPE ? :twak:
Seems like you wanted to forget what I said ...YOU took it off your sig when I proved you wrong, you were to stupid to bring it up once again ..:smashfrea
Tell me how JABS are rated again that was funny,by LENGTH correct?......half a brain Dumbium,to dumb to realize he continues to answer the wrong account but that's what happens when you juggle two sometimes... :dunce:
I took it off because I am merciful to those who are stupid through no fault of their own. Now I realise you are choosing ignorance. I'll tell you about jabs again. AJ will not jab his way into range against fury. Fury's jab is great and he will catch AJ coming in. Simple as that. AJ doesn't move like mike tyson LOL. I'm getting tired of you now so every time I see you I'm just going to remind you of the time you said come-forward pressure fighters are Wlads weakness. I still chuckle now. Wlad just got beat by a guy who is probably one of the only non-pressure fighters he's fought in the last 10 years LOL... Even the posters in the thread you said it in were laughing their asses off and you ignored anyone who tried to tell you.
obviously not if he thinks fury moves like Ali, and get furys c0ck out your mouth he has a wife and hates gays
Haha listen to this butthurt casual. ^^
And yes, Lennox Lewuis knows more about boxing than some random knobhead on NSB.
Lennox knows far more about boxing than you.
obviously not if he thinks fury moves like Ali, and get furys c0ck out your mouth he has a wife and hates gays
Did you give up on the "BOX" account or was my last reply to much for you ? :owned2:
Like i say, i don't have sockpuppets on here. There's more than one Fury fan on the internet believe it or not.
The only thing you own is half a brain and we all know I tooled you countless times on here so you need back up which doesn't help anyway......it really wouldn't matter if you made 100 accounts up b/c in the end you will still look dumb....dumbium! :boxing:
You "tooled" me? WTF does that mean? :lol1: :lol1:
You lack the intelligence to "tool" anyone son, let alone me.
Really long guys look slower because their limb are so long. Ask Shannon Briggs who his fastest opponent was and he will tell you Vitale Klitschko, whom you also called slow. Behemoth elephants look like they are lumbering yet can run down the fastest man.
If we can just get over our prejudice we can see that the Gypsy King actually uses moves Ali never mastered. What Ali did, he did very well, yet a close study of old school fighters like Ezzard Charles, Walcott, Pepp, reveal a more varied pallet! If Fury scores a KO in the rematch with Klitschko, comparisons to Ali will begin. This will also open the door to consideration of the actual roots of boxing itself as the bare-knuckling art from the poor folk of the old world have come full circle in the Gypsy Warrior King!

This is called, the UK bias.
Well i think he means furys movement is similar, and i agree woth him, but obviously slower. But i dont see any uk bias, fury is good on his feet, on his toes, unpredictable much like ali, but obviously ali a lot slicker due to 40lb weight differance
Who else in the heavyweight division has any similarities to alis movement?? No1 so nowt to do with uk bias
He said he moves like him. LIKE being the main word, a 6'9 260lb man is obviously not guna be as slick as ali, anyone that slates lewis and takes him word for word are being daft
