GGG is the one who needs to move up not Kell Brook! The beating he could take in this fight could completely ruin him and make him not be the same fighter he was before. Sure he'll get a pat on the back 'well done Brook, you took the fight others didn't want' but that won't undo the physical/mental damage from the fight, which is the risk. He's undefeated with a belt and it isn't even at a catchweight. He may be paid well but it's not amazing money like 15mill+. Brook is definitely taking a risk.

Well I won't say I don't respect Brook and the challenge he's taking but at the end of the day there is no risk when you're expected to lose and go back to your own weight class.....still IBF champion! It all depends on how he fights , if he gets hit clean a few times and just takes a 10 after 2/3 rounds , then it was a money grab , but if he really tries to win and fights with the intention to win he can find himself broken in the end of the fight and this is VERY risky , the belt won't do him any good if he gets beaten to a pulp.

I see what your saying. Even if he gets knocked out in the first round he is still in the exact same position he was in before the fight. If he is going to drop that 0 might as well be in a fight no one is giving you a chance to win. Yes, it is completely true that Brook is taking zero risk in this fight. Brook was afraid to legitimately lose his 0 to a welterweight like Vargas or Spence, so he is cashing it out to Golovkin because there is no shame in losing to a fighter that is two weight classes above you. Brook deserves zero respect because he is taking zero risk. love these big underdog fights...brook has got the ability to outbox GGG I think. But if he gets hit clean... No he can't outbox G because G is an outside fighter with a long jab and long punches, he'd have to fight G on the inside to have a chance; But Brook is not an inside fighter which means he is going to stand on the outside, get caught, and get KO'd like Khan!

He's taking a risk because of the danger involved in moving up 2 full weight classes and fighting the best guy there. Let's not pretend like Brook is moving up to 160 to fight some weak title holder

Thurman, Garcia, Bradley, Khan...these guys have shown no desire to fight Brook. He wants big fights, he took the only one he could get. Ducks and chickens are not crucified in this place. They are vigorously defended and sometimes honored. They'd rather crucify the one being ducked.
