He had flashes of his old self before Marquez put him to sleep. I think considering how brutal that knockout was + style + a long career...that he had a decent run these last few years.

Why bother with just an eye? Floyd likely triggered the cartilage damage and the blood clot on Genaro Hernandez that ended his career given it was discovered a month and a half after that absolute beating. Fact is even in that short clip posted on the first page Manny is CLEARLY running for half the clip. Point blank. Yes, he's throwing punches, but he's RUNNING. He's not standing in the pocket the entire fight, there are stretches where he's clearly trying to put distance between him and Cheato. That's fine, I don't criticize him for it. What I criticize is that when Manny does it, simply because he throws and misses more punches while doing it, it's not called running. Just because he's throwing, people are cool with it. Yet with Mayweather, he evades and is precision with his punches, but because his output is low yet his accuracy is sky high, people say he "ran". Hypocrites all. Running is running. this is actually very true , in the pcaquiao movie or documentary its shown after this fight he spent the night in the hospital and pac says that fight took something out of him the weight difference was just too much and he took really hard shots

Best part is Marquez has more power than Margo since Juan weighed 143 vs a 147 and put MR. Toradol to sleep! Alvarez flew back in time to whisper in to Pac's ear that a catchweight is better at a higher division. A big ass Margo at 150 and who knows what rehydration clause in place like they did against Oscar enticing it all with proper money... easy breezy! It's not only about power, but also timing and accuracy.
