TYSON FURY has denied he's a drugs cheat. A report over the weekend claimed Fury is being investigated after traces of banned anabolic steroid nandrolone were allegedly found in a urine sample taken last year before he beat Wladimir Klitschko to be crowned world heavyweight champion. It's been a year since he did the moondance with Wlad, but now, you're right. I don't see any muscles in that hurt foot photo.
lol, I hear you. I don't think there will be a surge in people wanting to buy it if they end up in the same shape as Fury.
It seems as if UKAD wants to hide something like with the doctor's probe beginning of this year. That London doc prescribed performance enhancing drugs to many athletes and UKAD knew about it.There should be definitely more investigation!
Or it could just be that they have to follow due process and assume he's not guilty until the investigation is over and all evidence has been presented. I'm sure you would expect the same if you knew you'd done nothing wrong, but "something" was found in one of your samples. You'd want everything checked and double checked to prove your innocence.
It's not professional to tarnish a sportsman's career until you are absolutely sure of what happened and that a violation had indeed taken place. It's simply the rule of law. Everything else is just pure speculation.
If it's proven through evidence that he has cheated, I'm of the opinion that he should be banned for life not just a couple of years. A cheat is a cheat and you can never trust them again not to find a more technologically advanced method of masking their actions.
Clearly something has been found for an investigation to be opened. I'm willing to give everyone the benefit of the doubt until it's over.

I wonder if it's like the olympics, where they went back and re-tested with better technology. Or, if this is just good old incompetence in boxing and sports doping control.
I hope he didn't do it. But, most of all I just want a truthful and swift resolution, whatever that truth may be.
I hope it isn't true.
If it is true then UKAD has to be questioned about their lack of transparency and about why they allow possible steroid users to keep fighting and putting other boxers in danger.
And I just want to thank Boxingscene for having Deontay Wilders face up in the control panel -- despite criticism you guys made the right call ; I commend you for standing by your conviction. Deontay Wilder vs. Cris Arreola is the only legitimate hw fight this year...every other title has been contested by cheats along with dubious policies that violate the integrity of our sport ( the heavyweight division in particular) -and thank you WBC for demanding anti-doping as a policy too your most coveted and respected titles.
Based on UKAD policy: Fury will be cleared to fight in the rematch and maybe even after that based on their appeal protocol - who knows how long Team Fury can delay/postpone the truth from surfacing. When you got fights that generate millions of dollars its no surprise that greed trumps transparency.
And what a obvious cheat Anthony Joshua makes himself to look in this article -- he still wants to fight Fury regardless of the outcome ; that goes to show he himself might be on something. All professional prize fighters should demand an equal playing field but since Joshua is probably on them and Fury is suspect that fight is irrelevant as far as I'm concern. Thank you Deontay Wilder for taking a stand and not fighting Povetkin.
