GEORGE GROVES admits he has no one to blame but himself for the way his career hit the skids after losing twice to Carl Froch. The super-middleweight takes on St Helens puncher Martin Murray at London's O2 on Saturday night, with the winner assured of another crack at the world crown against Fedor Chudinov. Very true. Groves gave 100% in all his defeats, but it just wasn't enough.
I reckon Groves beats the basic Jack in a rematch and will beat Murray on Saturday.
I think you lot don't understand what choke means. Let me explain it to you, it means to underperform even if you have the ability to do well, i.e. some sort of mental deficit in your performance. An inherent psychological and emotional deficit.
With that in mind, Groves is right. He battered Froch for 5 rounds in their first fight and it was unfairly stopped. The rematch was close but Froch got the KO because he was the better fighter. Then, in the Jack fight, he just barely lost, more due to his stamina and lack of punches than "choking" or Jack being better.

The great Froch KO'd and shamed Groves twice in title fights-DUH?
Hilarious as George carrot face Groves is a total failure in big fights losing badly. Groves is a fricking joke laughed at and scorned everywhere in boxing circles. Groves is laughed at more than those goofy Royals in the UK.

Right, except when you got KTFO two times by Froch.
I actually had to go to Boxrec site to make sure this wasn't some other George Groves. Nope. Same one. Same guy who Froch destroyed, Jack beat. 3 world stages. 3 fails. IOW choked. Geez, some people you can see a mile away just from their swollen egos. SMH
''Grovesy'' never fully capitalised on the gift decision he got against Degale. In the end, it was Degale who went on to better things. I'm not sure which one I dislike the most.. it's a tough call. Two fighters I struggle to root for.
I'm tempted to resort to "Ugly Kid" insults because of the prattish things he keeps saying.
BWaHAHaahahaaaHA!!!
