LENNOX LEWIS has backed Tyson Fury to flatten heavyweight rival Anthony Joshua - as long as they clash in the next two years. The former undisputed world heavyweight champion believes controversial Fury is the best of the bunch of heavies who have come through to add excitement to the division. Click Here To Read More]
I can if fighters are still today . Ask anyone if they think Wilder would be a champ in the 70's see how that goes . Joshua would never be in the same sentance as a Foreman even though hes twice his size and 3x the talent ,i dont think you knowl how hof actually works when made up levels of a 70's era is the measuring stick.
You have totally gone off topic, what your waffling on about is irreverent. You stated Joshua is the best heavyweight right now and a future hof. I said thats premature, and you've gone off on a tangent.
I've seen enough stupid comments from you and blind fanboyism or hating to know your views are tainted by them. You can't hide it as it's all you do on this site.
I've never seen you write anything remotely nuetral or giving anything other than your own personal, biased views, usually written like a ten year old with a loose grasp on the English language or grammar. How do you expect people to take you seriously or your *supposed* boxing knowledge you go on about in every thread to try desperately to make your views seem more than what they are?

Excuse me lol....I comment on every topic from crawford to chocalito up to wilder and joshua , all I see from you is fury this fury that and you never comment on anything else...your a deluded codhead and you just can't take someone elses opinion if they go against your idol....I've told you from the start joshua knocks fury out and that's since day one and it's not changed...not beczuse I'm a fan of AJ it's beczuse fundamentally fury is one of the most uncoordinated boxers I have ever seen and was involved in probably the ugliest heavyweight title fight I have ever seen...fury has a terrible style , cumbersome and mediocre punching power and I also think wilder would knock fury out as well ....now if you don't like some elses opinion on fury tough sh1t ....f@ckin goon
He sets those power shots up. Power is also an attribute you cant ignore . HOF means little ....do you really think the boxing boards are going to give him any credit for defeating Fury or Wilder? The truth is unless you beat popular fighters that are labled great by the American board of boxing you just considered average champion that would lose in the 70's where guys 200 pounds fought for titles or overrated brawlers achieved legendary status, and MOST fans actually believe it too. :pat:
You cant compare something from 46yrs ago dude. And what planet are you on saying that he wouldn't get recognition. It would be a media frenzy, Joshua Fury would be a mega fight in a stadium. And beating any of them would propel him into a even more of a huge star than he already is.
It s a well educated prediction . And he wouldn't be favored over EVERY champion right now if i didn't know what i was talking about which why the smart odds makers think the same thing i do . He was even favored over Wlad before the Fury fight at the mock lines .Now he CAN lose bc anyone can ,but when was the last time you saw two undefeatted guys and one was a 50 to 1 underdog going into a title fight? No one could have defeated the last three guys he fought in the way he did ,i think you guys fail to realise that performance is taken into account of breaking down fights as is calculating fight progression ,meaning Breazeale is having to fight the best Joshua yet ....hence the insane odds and its not bc Breazeale is a bad fighter who himself is going to be on point .
He has crazy power, which is the reason as to why he defeated them in such a manner. And Breazeale is horrendous im sorry.
Can he go on to become a great? he could do, I mean hardly anyone gave Fury a chance against Wlad and well he proved most people wrong. Anyway I just think he needs some tougher fights before being quoted as a future HOH fighter its very early in his career yet dude.
He hasnt fought any one based on what? Was he suppose to fight Wilder already ? That guy hasnt even fought a top ten guy yet ... Joshua has. I think you fail to realise what skill sets look like if you think Lewis was the more dangerous fighter . HOF status arent skills they are lables . Theres always only a handful of top HW's in any era what does that prove. I guess M.Tyson wasnt anything either mugging Spinks a cruiser weight , Holmes out of retirement and unproven , unbeaten olympic medalist Biggs ..... surley you dont believe that crap !
Based on his record, no credible names. We have to wait until he gets in the ring with Fury, haye, Wilder, Ortiz etc etc. If he beats them then we know.
I'm not hating on Joshua at all, I just think what your saying is premature.
Yet he picked Wlad to win over Fury the 1st time ,and even said "FURY HAS NO CHANCE " at beating Klitchko.....he must be a CASUAL right ? :trink26:
The truth is Lewis will go against anyone he feels threatens his own status in the history books and is well aware that Joshua is on a fast track to surpass even what he accomplished and knows B .Hearn who was involved in his career already thinks Joshua is better than Lewis was . Lewis did the same thing with Wlad when he knew Steward thought Wlad had more talent so he picked and even gave his opposition advice how to beat him ...... ironically the ONE time he openly admitted a sure win for Wlad he lost ,so im glad hes picking Fury this time !:cool2:
I ll go by a much better boxing analyst Mike Tyson who gave logical reasons to why he cant see Wlad losing twice to Fury ! Any smart observational person can see Joshua would have a more than good chance defeating Fury ,and the question will be answered anyway should Wlad defeat Fury since its stylistically an easier match for Tyson ,if he cant beat Wlad he cant beat Joshua !
Well the least since you value Lewis opinions over anyone elses its important to note for you he had Haye winning against Fury when they were supposed to fight , the much smaller Haye than !:lol1:
Lol, seriously.. I think your getting slightly ahead of yourself. I like Joshua, but to say hes on a fast track to become A HOF & be above Lewis in he HOF rankings is just ridiculous. He's fought no one yet, and there is only a handful of good Heavyweights around at the moment to.
The only HOF boxer at heavy will be Wlad atm, and we are yet to see about the rest.
If Joshua makes it 2 years without testing positive this sport might as well be a ringling bros sideshow act
in fact if he lives past 40 id be totally surprised... bump the thread by then

Lennox knows how good Fury is now.

So Lennox is picking Fury because he's jealous of Joshua? Mmhmm, ok buddy.

The much better boxing analyst Mike Tyson said that Fury was the greatest HW since him. http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/other-sports/75805233/Heavyweight-boxing-legend-Mike-Tyson-declares-Tyson-Fury-the-best-since-me Anyway he can beat Wladimir, he did it in his last fight.

Haye would've had a very good shot at beating Tyson then, not now though obviously, i'm sure that Lennox would pick Fury if he was asked now. I don't value Lennox's opinion over everyone, just the muppets on here.
Anyway, a prime Haye was a miles superior fighter to the roided up robot you idolise. Haye would spark him clean out right now, let alone in his prime.
I've followed boxing all my life.....grew up with it and had my first pair of boxing gloves when I was 5.....been all over the country and the states to see big fights and can pretty much judge who I consider a better fighter when comparing two fighters..... Here we have on this site ...7 or 8 fury fanatics who are the dumbest f@ckers I have ever seen.... Vinnykin,kafkod,Denium,fury4dawin,box and there's a couple more who I can't remember...do you really want me to name every poster who thinks joshua beats fury...lol.....as for the odds makers they've already made joshua a favourite over fury....look as I said you have a brain don't you , do you really get swayed on what other people think or do you use your own judgement when judging a fighter.....I couldn't give a f@ck what Barry hearn says and it's has no influence on how I see the fury joshua fight unfolding....the joshua fury fight will unfold with joshua stoppping fury inside 9 rounds and its not even certain that fury gets past klitchcko in the rematch yet ....joshua should win easy but it's heavyweight boxing where one shot and it's all over can happen at any minute

I knew you'd be lingering about here hahaha
After Barry Hearn's comments the other day I'm pretty sure you're actually Barry Hearn, or just as stupid. You're just as much a blind fanboy, jumping on the bandwagon when he hasn't shown anything yet apart from power. Everyone can see it, apart from the Barry Hearns and the Steve Plungers of the world...aka morons

Lewis was a great heavyweight but he's one of the worst commentators and coaches around....he started coaching David prices career and we all saw what happened....you don't have to believe hearn or lewis or who ever ...you have a brain don't you and judgement so why do you care what anybody else thinks...im saying joshua knocks fury out and just don't go anywhere when it happens because I'm gonna hound you into the ground when it happens

Na, Lewis is wrong, he doesn't know what he's talking about. I think I'll believe Barry Hearn and Steve Plunger's analysis of Joshua's rounds against 3rd rate fighters.

I'm glad people have started appreciating Fury's boxing abilities. He's very intelligent and hard working. He's a big man with a good reach, great movement and some good defence. I think he's really good but not sure how he would fair against Wilder, Stiverne, Haye at the moment. Those are great fights with each person bringing different challenges. Sadly those fights will probably not get made in the near future.
