TYSON FURY reckons Anthony Joshua is only beating basketball bums. And the WBO, IBO and WBA heavyweight champion has no interest in taking the IBF belt off his fellow Brit.

Fury's talking shit about Joshua like he's a walk in the park, but I'm curious to see if Wlad comes back with a vengeance. Fury had better be focused on that fight first.
Manswell had a flashy record but most knew he fought nobody but Stiverne was in the same boat. It was a fight of prospects to see who moved on. King secured multiple vacant regional belts for the winner. The winner was moving into the top 15 in a couple organizations. Winning those regional belts are the fastest way up the rankings. Alex leapai is a perfect example. He beat a couple asian pacific duds to win the WBO oriental & asian pacific belts. Those belts gave him the #10 spot in the WBO. Those belts put him in an eliminator with Denis Boytsov who was #1. He pulled the upset & walked out of his title shot with 1.8 million euros against Wlad. Winning those regional belts are important. I didn't have Alex Leapai in the top 50.
That is why I say a Tournament should be Mandatory for a Retired Fighters Belt instead of it be put up for the guy rated #1 and #2 on the Belt Organization Ratings. Clearly if the Promoter has the money he can BUY his fighter a good spot on these Belt Organization Ratings
LOL at Ray Austin, that dude is like 60. LOL at Manswell yeah he was undefeated because he did not fight anybody, look at his record now since losing to Steiverne the man is 4-12 in his last 16 fights :lol1:
Bottom Line, Fury has every right to consider the rest Paper Champions because they did not earn their titles like he did. Not saying Joshua and Wilder are not good and can't beat Fury but he has a Point and a right to feel that wayManswell had a flashy record but most knew he fought nobody but Stiverne was in the same boat. I have the fights. He got the WBC high ranking by fighting on a Don King undercard. He beat fellow king stablemate kertson manswell who was 20-0 at the time. He picked up 3 trinkets then beat Austin & Arreola in eliminators. He was losing to Austin until he landed a big punch that pretty much ended the fight. i can't recall if Austin was DQ'd or not but something happened at the end. I thought Arreola would crush Stiverne but i couldn't have been more wrong. I even called arreola to get revenge but he got KTFO...

The reality is that's a very rare in boxing - I cant remember a significant tournament lately that has crowned a elite champion...it would be great if boxing were to be ran like a fantasy league my friend.
And that is exactly why boxing is on a steady decline especially here in the US and has falling behind sports like GOLF in the US because in boxing Belts are kinda just purchased and Rankings Positions are Bought. Nobody earn anything it is just a guy shows up out of no where and starts to get hyped up because he score a few KO's this is how stars are created in this HDAD ERA of Boxing Fans!
I didn't look. Wasn't it big boy Arreola? They fought twice didn't they? Now wilder's fighting the guy who lost to the guy he beat for the belt. Povetkin was a great step in the right direction for wilder, but the dirty cheat ruined it all. So can't blame wilder for the fight.
That is the point, Stiverne and Arreola fought for Vitali Vacant Belt, LET THAT SINK IN! lol
Nobody is blaming Wilder for anything but I'm not going to accept excuse for him, yeah OK Povetkin ruined the fight but what about the other 3 Average fighters he fought before Povetkin? Not only that but why does he have to wait for the WBC to order a tough challenge for him before stepping up his level of competition. So fights get canceled he goes back to fighting weak competition? Just Saying!
It needs to be a damn Tournament when someone retires instead of just letting guys fight whoever for it. I guarantee most don't know who Stivernie beat to win that Title after Vitali Retire without looking it up on boxrec lol

LOL I mean he is RIGHT, the other Heavyweight Champions are only Champion because Vitali retired and gave up his WBC Belt and Fury gave up that IBF Belts so yeah he is right :dunno:
But Fury didn't retire, he was contractually bound so he couldn't keep it, and it was forcefully snatched off him by that snake-pit organisation who wanted to ride the AJ money train to the bank. I'm glad Fury is trashing their BS belt. They are reaping what they sow. I will be even happier if Eddie Hearn does make the mistake of putting AJ in with Fury, Cuz then those greedy turds will lose their cash cow, and their belt's reputation and image will be completely trashed.
In Wilders defense retirement is part of the sport and we move on ; should we just retire the WBC HW title? obviously not also Wlad would of never fought his Brother Vitali to 'unify' but we knew Vitali was the man not Wlad despite holding most of the belts : but in Joshuas case Fury was stripped and he got the luck of the draw.

Just sign on the dotted line fury because you seem to be doing a lot talking...Joshua is gonna hit him so hard and watch when fury falls and the noise he makes as he hits the deck ...ranks as one of the most uncoordinated heavyweights of all time and an embarrassment to heavyweight championship of the world..... War Joshua
Been watching HWs since i was 14. I don't know more about boxing then anyone. I don't watch any other weight class. I don't comment on any other weight class other then HWs. I never trained or fought. I'm just an armchair fan who watches fights...
Appreciate the humbleness and humility. Wish more people were like you. Sadly they're not. They're like children that either learn the hard way or don't learn at all. And they think they know it all and they're the only ones, but there must be a conveyor belt pumping these lot out cause they're a dime a dozen. And you can tell they're factory made cause they're easily broken too. Just takes a bit of logic.
EDIT: this post sounds like some kind of Johnny Cash song LOL

And you still manage to know more about boxing!

Fury talks like he been at the top for years like mike tyson or evander and fought everyone. He fought a poor vladimer and derek chisora so when he has fought everyone then he can get on his high horse.
Post of the month for sure!!! I didn't have time to read his play by play essay. I work 60 hours a week, drink beer & i like women...
And you still manage to know more about boxing!
I don't really care what you or anyone thinks to be honest I only deal in reality not fantasy.
Yeah, sure you don't care, that's why you posted a three-foot-long essay on the whole fight to try and convince someone (delusionally) that Wlad won.
however I know boxing better than you by far so we will see...
So we know you got 1 prediction wrong. You predicted Wlad. I predicted Fury. 1-0.
therapist? you're not to overly bright if you arer actually going to challenge me ANYTHING on boxing HW's...but I always welcome a good AZZ kicking.
You're kicking your own ass by making wrong predictions and then blaming it on everyone but yourself. You'll do the same next time, unless you disappear completely like a lot of them did. Stop welcoming ass-kickings and stop giving yourself them.
