When's Andre Ward's next fight? Assuming he's going to face Kovalev in 2016 he better get a move on it and fight the next bum he wants. I made a thread before saying Ward won't fight Kovalev in 2016 but all the majority of NSB disagreed with me. So when's Ward's next fights?
I'm wondering when/who the next fight is as well. If I recall correctly, both Kov and Ward are obligated to have their last tuneup by July something, after that they're only allowed to fight one another.
Although if I'm not mistaken, The Kov/Chilemba match comes after this deadline so it's not entirely clear.
Ward, Froch, Cotto, Canelo, Martinez, and Chavez Jr would all be in GGG's resume but they all proved to be cowards.
Kovalev has a pretty decent resume and would have the pimp and Beterviev in his resume but they both declined.
Now that you've been schooled get out of my thread you troll.
I disagree with you on Kovalev beating Pimpdonis. i think its a very good 50/50 matchup, both have great power, both are skilled.
People overestimate Kovalev's chin, its not that good, neither is it bad, its kind of standard tbh, he has been hurt on several occasions, namely by Pascal in their 1st fight, and Pascal isnt a big puncher, but then again Adonis chin is kind of standard aswell, its not bad nor good either
Adonis holds advantage in 1PunchKoPower, and if he connects with one of his huge Left Hands there is no doubt in my mind that Kovalev will get sparked out
Kovalev holds advantage in work rate and stamina, Adonis tends to gas later on in fights, so if it goes the later rounds id definetly favor Kovalev, also Kovalev would probably put a beating on Adonis as the fight goes, Kovalev rarely loads up on his punches as much as Adonis, Adonis is more of a KO artist while Kovalev is a stalker that breaks his opponents down rather then looking for that 1 big punch.
As for Beterbiev, if they get him a couple of more fights, i dont see either Adonis or Kovalev beating him, Beterbiev punches way harder then Kovalev and Adonis and Beterbiev might just be the p4p hardest puncher in boxing today, every punch he lands gives an echoing thudding noise that can be heard across the arena
The Ward offer was to fight him at the beginning of this year, it was allowing each a fight before, so Golovkin could have still fought Lemieux. Turned down in 10 mins and they said maybe 2017. Stop the bull**** lies.
Did they turn it down in 10 mins because (should GGG get past Lemieux ofc) he would still be mandated to fight Canelo / Cotto for the WBC / Lineal championship do you think? Loeffler rebuffed Froch at around the same time for the same reason. And yeah... if they were looking at the MW unification in 2016 then 2017 would be a reasonable timeframe for a Ward fight I would have thought.
You're an idiot. Kov looks good because he is that good. Soft comp? Adonis moved across town to avoid him. If Ward doesn't take a fight before Kov that will definitely hurt his chances in my opinion
See, judging by logic of these people, if Kovalev is a bum then Ward shouldn't get any credit for beating him at all.
If some person will be praising Ward for beating Kovalev, but you know the same person was saying that Kovalev is a bum before the fight, then you can be confident you ought to slap him in the face
I don't care to talk ggg in this thread. Avoided or not. Which I'm sure we'll differ in, is not my concern. If you're content with what he's doing at MW so be it. I aint gonna fight with anyone about it. GGG is ggg. Ward needs to fight somebody soon if he indeed intends of fighting Killa Kov
I'm not content with what he's doing in MW but I can't ignore that he could just as easily have Martinez, Cotto, Canelo in his record. Plus Froch, Ward, and Chavez Jr at 168 but he wasn't given the chance. It's like if Leonard hadn't fought benitez, duran, hagler or hearns because the 4 of them decided "no thank you Mr. Leonard you're too good". In essence that's what Cotto, Canelo, Martinez, Froch, and Ward did is just that they didn't vocalize it. Except for maybe Martinez who did admit Golovkin was a beast and Dibella said there was no way Martinez was fighting that monster.

well its on both kov and ward not just ward but it sounds like his next fight is about to be finalized
Giving him flack for not going up to 168 but the 3 times he tried he was avoided. You're forgetting Froch, Chavez Jr, and Ward in 2012 because all of them viewed him as too big a risk. Later both GGG and Ward ducked each other because they both viewed themselves as the A side(Ward with his asking of two tune ups just like he did with Kov and has yet to deliver, and GGG's team asking for that ridiculous catchweight.)
There's only so much you can do if the people that matter wont get in the ring with you. Also there is nothing at 168. The most meaningful fight would be degale and he is moving to 175 and is George Groves left overs

Maybe he isn't taking another fight before Kovalev.
It's not like he's fighting Bob Foster.
Kovalev looks good because of all the soft comp.

Everybody is a coward except GGG....the bi.tch that stayed in the amateurs until he was damn near evicted.
Golovkin has hamster balls and the ambition of a Hobo.
Kovalev's camp crushed the Stevenson fight when they ducked their own purse bid.
LOL
You didn't even refute my point. You also forget to mention that when the fight was all but done the pimp ran to Haymon's Haven for the Ducks in PBC.
I'll let your behavior slide just this once. Never ever argue with a screename "Paulie Walnuts" and citing Lil'G in a LHW schedule season.
Oh you'll let it slide, how mighty of you mister SugarKaine.
As i said stay on topic or get out of the thread troll.
"It's not about Lil'G" Thread is technically in respect to LHW.
Ward told Kova about Barrera, "don't worry..I got this for you.."
Great input. Thanks to you I now know when Ward fights next and whether or not he will fight Kovalev in 2016.:tool:
I've seen you around. You're as biased a troll as they come. Go distribute your great input elsewhere. I don't like trolls in my threads.
his next fight is rumored for july 30 the week after kovalev fights.
and ward vs kovalev is scheduled for November 19th
Rumored? July 30th is a month and a half away. When is his opponent going to have a training camp if he doesn't even know if his been selected? What kind of a bum agrees to a fight that hasn't even been signed a month and half away. He wont be a rated Light-heavy weight that's for sure. Expect NSAC not to sanction the match against the bum Ward wants, and he will claim he was denied the fight and wont honor his contract against Kovalev.

Golovkins team said they want a 50/50 split. Golovkin was wanting to fight Lemieux so was accommodated. Turned down in 10 mins, maybe 2017, 164.
Sure sure. Are you also going to deny Ward ducked him in 2012? Never answered the question. When will Ward fight next to fulfill hes contract to fight Kovalev. My guess is never he'll surely pull an injury or claim everyone ducked a fight against him.
Kovalev has way more bums on his resume than Ward.
You're throwing shade at the wrong guy.
If they don't fight this year,Kovalev can use the extra time to learn how to move his head:lol1: and stop squaring himself up.
Maybe you can spar with him...instead of leveling generic criticisms to make yourself appear knowledgeable.

Ward wanted 50% and tune ups just like now and still hasn't delivered to fight Kovalev. If that's not ducking i dont know what to tell you.
Now stay on topic and answer... when will Ward fight next? When will he fight Kovalev? The answer is he wont fight Kovalev because he knows whats coming.
Ward needs to get this next fight over with and get ready for Kov. As a fan of his, I don't understand anymore what the hold up is. In the past I understood there were legal problems and his injury but that's ended.
Fight somebody soon, then get in there with Kov. I don't care for the ggg talk. Avoided by guys like Cotto, Canelo, Sturm don't do anything for me. He's got the belts, he's the best mw in the world so he can choose to fight the guys he's been fighting and please his fan base or move up onto another set of challenges. I really do not care.
