Former WBO heavyweight world champion Shannon Briggs has promised to honor the memory of Muhammad Ali by scoring a first round knockout of David Haye in the fall. Briggs has 36 knockouts under his belt. Click Here To Read More]
I have doubts about most boxers with steroids, but he's 'officially' clean. I don't think he has mental health issues at all, he's just trying to entertain and talk himself into some big fights. If you watch him in some videos where he's not chasing after guys or screaming stuff, he's actually very insightful and articulate. There's a recent Boxnation interview with him that I really enjoyed.
But yeah, he is way past his prime. I think he'll do well in fights where he won't be outboxed because he can crack hard, but other than that I don't see him getting that far.
You've seen more and heard more about him than I have. So I'll take your word for it.
But as far as roids go, looks like a duck, must be a duck,
especially when middle aged.
And what is Haye? Some world beater??? Been off the shelf for 3.5 years, only to come back and fight two dudes who probably couldn't hold their own as a bouncer at a local bar. Talking about people past their prime, Haye fits right in the thick of that category.
I'd love nothing more than to see the Kimbo of boxing KO Haye's goofy ass.
I'm not a fan of Haye. I agree
Maybe they can ko each other.
A bit like Haye then?

Not quite. Haye proved himself as one of the all time great crusierweights. As for his short HW career, any fan that judges Haye on his talent, understands he can defeat all three current champions, but of course until they man up and face Haye, questions will be asked.
Hopefully this time next year, we can discuss Haye as HW champion as he proves he is number 1.

Yes, he's a classic flat track bully.

And which great fighters have Wilder and AJ faced?........do you need time to think about that mate?
Haye isn't going to lose to Briggs, its simply not going to happen as Haye is far too classy and intelligent to allow himself to be defeated by a mouthy old man.
Once Haye moves in for the kill, he will be thinking to himself "lets go chump" as he sends old man briggs crashing to the canvas and the IBF will then move Haye to number 1 contender spot, basically forcing the hands of the Joshua camp, setting up a title fight.
Briggs is a steroid abuser, has no cardio, he's past his prime, he has a grey beard, and he has mental health issues. Am I wrong on any of these? To me he end up becoming the Kimbo Slice of boxing.

After Briggs retires Haye he will only be known as the Shaggy looking mfer who hurt his toe, ducked Fury twice and got KO'd in 1 round by a 45 year old. A shame hardly anyone will remember that he was actually a pretty good cruiserweight lol.
Lets go champ! :boxing:
