There's Lemieux, there's Bradley, there's Pacquiao, maybe BJS. He has options. Now as to how acceptable those options are, HBO will accept anything from him at this point.
/ALL ROADS LEAD TO CANELO\
We're supposed to believe CANELO ducked lil g ,the biggest ducker of this era because lil g fans said so?! Lmfao , ok cool story bro! CANELO won the belt fair & square at 155 against a Future hall of famer, if you thought CANELO was going to give lil g the bigger guy who brings in hardly any $ five pounds & 45% of the money, then your either not to smart or you're new to boxing, Floyd , Pacquiao & COTTO would of done the same thing and it would of been considered standard procedure.
CANELO should fight Dominick "house arrest" Wade , since Wade's arguably lil g's greatest win. Lil g fans wanted a parade for the Wade victory.
GGG vs WADE
AUDIO FROM ABEL SANCHEZ IN GGG's CORNER IN BETWEEN ROUND 1 & 2 :
ABEL to GGG-"when Wade's house arrest ankle monitor beeps he looks down at the ankle monitor every time, so what I need you to do is , when you here the beeping sound throw the right hand upstairs!"

GGG vs A BUM
THAT MIGHT NOT BE TELEVISED AGAIN
At this point I think the best option is retirement. He's humiliated himself and shamed the sport enough between fighting exlusively at "155" for years, ducking Golovkin, defending a MW title against Amir Khan then vacating it immediately to duck Golovkin again.
His reputation cannot recover. He is universally unwanted. A toilet of a man.
Yeah. Cotto II is a good call. He'll probably set the weight to 155.5 lbs just to show who's the a-side.
But Cotto will come in at 153.9 and say, "do I look like a MW?"
Where he goes immediately from here should give us an indication of where he intends to go in the near future. He claims not to be a 160lb fighter (reports that he enters the ring between 170 - 180lbs make that look very dubious) so the only reason to be fighting in that division is as preparation for Golovkin. If he fights Lemieux next then he's dangling the carrot.
Fighting a man that usually operates at 147lb in the interim bout he'd requested indicates that he had no intention of fighting GGG as mandated. If the above report of him sounding Smith out is correct then, in Mexico, they clearly do "f*ck around". Despite his invitation, nobody will be touching his balls any time soon.
He played his Get Out Of Jail Free Card against Lara the first time around so I don't see him going back. Plus Oscar never wanted the fight in the first place. Bradley's a possible shout. Good boxer, good name, seemingly durable but has probably been there for the taking since the Provodnikov fight. Could well be the first man to stop him which would continue Golden Boy's marketing strategy of making him look like a more exciting puncher than he is.
If it's not Golovkin though he continues on in the shame and embarrassment that he's cloaked himself in. Which is largely inconsequential to his handlers as long as we continue to tune it. . . . Which we almost certainly will.
Canelo vs andrade
Canelo vs either charlo
Those fights would take the heat off of canelo for not fighting gennady.
But we all know it's gonna be rosado or Lemieux. Both loss to GGG by the way
I am also hearing whispers of a Khan rematch..this time at 156
Khan would dominate canelo at 156
Just go back and watch the first fight in slow motion. Khan was definitely weight drained
He goes on a campaign to try to repair his rep. IMO though the only way to do that is manning up and fighting GGG. Not everyone is like me though so I'm sure he'll still have tons of fans and make boatloads of money
