Why should bums like Lara get a shot at the best fighter in the world?

He can run faster than he did from Canelo I don't think it's too much if he can't line up any other fights. It will be interesting to see how GGG deals with Lara's movement. I think GGG cuts off the ring better than Canelo does. Who do you want to see him fight if he can't get Canelo, Saunders, or Jacobs? If Lara wants to run, so be it. This isn't a serious question, surely? Murray, Macklin and Geale were all either top 10 middleweights or former title holders or both. Plus they were proven at the weight. Then Lem was the IBF title holder. Lara's name gets thrown around like he is some master boxer or top fighter but the guy doesn't even have an elite win on his resume, neither does he have any depth and nor has he put in any terrific performances. Added to all that, he isn't even a middleweight. If he was to move up and beat a couple good fighters, then sure. But as of now, Lara is not the boogeyman everyone is trying to make him out to be. He has done nothing to merit a shot at the best MIDDLEWEIGHT on the planet. Stop it he beat Paul Williams at 160 was robbed!!! Beat Canelo at 154 Robbed!!! I watched Lara's last fight this weekend. I felt he lost and was given gift by his Uncle Al Haymon. Him getting shot at GGG would be one gift too many. In boxing opportunities are earned. Not given out like free condoms at a planned parenthood office. Lara is a bum. I don't think GGG is the best on the planet and I don't think Lara is ab um but I don't think he deserves the fight either. Lara is a struggling light middleweight who has lost all his major fights and is holding onto a belt that is at best, a b level belt in the division. If he can prove himself with wins over 2 of the other title holders or beat a top 10 ranked middleweight, then yes, a GGG fight is viable. Right now, it's a load of bollocks and I'm sure GGG laughs at Lara.
