Haye keeps going on about how the public are demanding this fight. Do you guys really wanna see this or this just an excuse for another easy fight?
Let's make this the official poll..
Should have fought him a fight or two before its built up too much now
I do like Haye but but hes conning me with this one and I like Briggs so wont be good viewing if hes just taking a beating.
How in your right mind is anyone actually clicking "Yes" I want to see this. The fight is a Joke!
Why on earth does anyone want to see and old slow Briggs, get ktfo and most likely badly ktfo?
Mind boggling, I know.
Did not expect fans, especially hardcore fans which you would expect here to vote yes.
I am interested in it.
Also I agree with the sentiment that Briggs should get a decent payday. Especially after the Vitali debacle where he claims not to have been paid.
Boxing doesn't seem a great way to pick up a pension but why not - he has worked his backside off for the payday.
Plus you never know. Briggs could get to him. It is worth remembering Haye fought Audley on PPV. Even this is levels above that.
We all know Haye is cashing out with the Joshua fight anyway.
I'm not really excited by it, but i will watch it.
It is what it is, not every fight has to be a game changer.
When Haye came back, i thought that he would need 3 'warm up' fights before getting in with anyone a level up. For me, this is the the 3rd warm up fight. I don't see Briggs troubling Haye, but he's a better opponent than the last 2.
It was probably always the plan, Haye's seen Briggs get attention with his recent antics and see it as a chance to get some more limelight.
I've seen casual fans talking about Briggs since he was stalking Wlad..so i think Haye Vs Briggs will catch the attention.
I like Briggs, he's a good guy with time for the fans.
He's clawed himself back from a low point in his life & doesn't roll over.
He deserves a decent payday & I hope he manages to land a few on the chin of the stub master.
It would be a high for British boxing if he ko'd dave on dave. I hope he gets more fights in the uk whatever the outcome.
Briggs at 44 is a huge step up from almost all of haye's previous opponents.
Let's face it, who else would haye get in there with? Some other no name with no hope
Fuk toenochio
Fuk barry mcguigan, only time that fuk should be seen is when people are putting their Christmas trees up
Let's go champ
Really surprised with poll so far. I wasn't expecting this much interest. Yes, the build up may be fun but the fight will not be competitive for a second.
When Vitali Klitschko fought Briggs he was slaughtered on NSB.
Now Haye wants to fight him, almost 6 years later, its suddenly fine.
I guess posters have such a low opinion of Haye, that it is acceptable. Perhaps it's because Haye has often shied away from legitimate opposition at HW.

Fury's resume was very weak leading up to the title. Only good win was vs Chisora. It's funny now they're complaining about Joshua fighting bums when the resume's are pretty much equal when you look into it.
Bullsh1t.
How many former world champions has Joshua got on his resume? At least Fury won a couple of title eliminators before getting his shot.
The Kevin Johnson that AJ knocked out wasn't the same version that Fury defeated. At the time, Safetypin was still a semi-contender, and a win over Fury would've given him a high ranking & a potential title shot. By the time AJ got to him, he was cannon fodder.
Who else? Dillian Whyte, i'd say Chisora was just as good as Whyte was at the time when Fury first beat him, better actually. No way in a million years would Whyte have gone 12 against Vitali.
I actually think that Joey Abell would defeat anyone on AJ's resume bar Whyte & Martin, and Fury fought him after a 14 month break and treated the fight as a joke. Actually, so would Hammer.
He's beating bums, but looked at his latest fight and was pretty blown away by how young he moves, this guy is 44?(...)
Still not sure, but It's better than Haye's last opponent anyway.
Watch his fight against Zumbano Love. He has conditioning for "go for the kill" in first round and that's it - he's done. After that he's just a sitting duck in the middle of the ring. He was shot even when he beat Liakhovych decade ago...
He has nothing left, not even power. Any men of that size, even at 50, can find someone he can knock out - there's a reason Briggs turned down club fighter from UK - it was too tough of an assignment.
He's not better fighter than Gjergjal - "Cobra" was able to edge out Bakhtov who is a somewhat decent journeyman - so it's fair to say he is on the level of solid journeyman also. Briggs is not.
It's moronic fight, WWE build-up and crap in the ring, but casual fan-base is going to enjoy that.
Kimbo Slice should fight Rich Piana on the undercard and winner gets Haye in December.
