Saunders is at the hight of his marketability right now, similar to when Kid Chocolate was undefeated and in demand.... But Peter Quillin avoided GGG (Vacated title, for Koborov no less) and got beat by Jacobs... He's not likely to see that payday potential again in his career... Saunders is in the same boat today... He has a title and is an undefeated champion, he might not ever make as much money for a fight in his career, then he would now against GGG... So why take the chance of getting knocked off, losing the title an undefeated record and all the money that comes with that vs GGG... Not to mention the reputation taking a hit...
