First, I had the feeling that Wilder didn't want to fight anyone good since his win against Stiverne. Then he agreed to fight Povetkin, even in Russia, which impressed me a lot. Then Povetkin turned out to be on illegal substances and the fight would be rescheduled. That disappointed me a lot. Povetkin was the coward, not Wilder. Then, Wilder suddenly want the fight cancelled instead of rescheduled... And I'm like... Fvck them both. They're good boxers, but they show no respect to the fans. This would have been an epic fight to watch, but it's all ruined because both of them are so damned unprofessional. Povetkin fcuked up the fight and there is no reason to accommodate him. Since when do fighters caught cheating get to reschedule fights? Wait, so you're upset that Wilder went through negotiations, a purse bid, didn't vacate the belt, trained in the uk before going to Russia, didn't complain after the purse bid, passed his drug tests, had an opponent who failed his by trying to be sneaky and decides to not fight him and that's why you're upset with him? Wilder and his team are smart to stay away . Povetkin is a dirty cheat and suspicious **** always goes on in russia. He might have just been masking something even worse than meldonium.

We have a very disturbing "element" in this sport's fan base that must be challenge at the lease and eradicated at the most. I agree 100%. We should at least challenge them and call them out on their BS whenever we see it.

It's definitely understandable that Wilder doesn't want to face Povetkin, now that he's been caught cheating. If Povetkin was bold enough to take a banned substance after it was banned, he must have been confident that it wouldn't be detected. With reports of masking agents being available, it should make Wilder suspicious of what did not get detected.

He's in a win win situation, and imo chose the correct option. Absolutely nothing. I get not being a fan of his. I'm not worried about that, but to be upset that he isn't going through with a fight where his opponent cheated on purpose is baffling. I would call it sad, not baffling. The racist trolls, you know what they are about so they can be ignored. It's upsetting when solid posters want to give Povetkin every chance to prove himself clean when they never do that with others that have tested positive, especially when its VADA testing involved.
