Kell Brook is rumored to have made, in his own right, $1.5m for his mandatory defense against Bizier.
How much money do you earnestly think Arum is willing to lose on Jessie Vargas, because Brook isn't coming over to take the fight for free, lol.
The fact that you seem to believe that Brook chose to simply not fight Rios/Chaves/Bradley, with no context even hinted at, let's me know that this is a waste.
You see this is Brooks problem -- hes comfortable making millions courtesy of the dumbest fans in the world ( the UK fans ) they would pay for that crap and thats why Brook wont do nothing...but if he wants to become elite take the short money in the long run that investment will payoff -- being a unified champion brings the Mega fights that he claims he wants but personally I doubt it hes happy over there pimping gullible brits.
Perspective? your joking the fact... the Kell Brook hasnt done nothing but stalk Amir Khan and passed on fights with ; RIOS, CHAVEZ, BRADLEY ect gives you a better picture.

Im a Vargas fan so of course my response will sound bias but lets be real here, typically I would call BS on a fighter for not wanting to travel but Vargas still needs to build his name in the USA, Brook is already known in the UK but not so much in the states so itd serve him well to come over here. Also a loss sets Vargas back way more than it would Brook, Brits (like Mexicans) support their fighters whether they are undefeated or have 11 losses (ie Orlando Salido). & if people want to talk $, I dont blame Vargas once again for wanting the big$$ to go to the UK, TR doesn't pay guys like PBC to fight nobodies in their hometown, and like he said he has a daughter to pay for. Lets hope Brook & Hearn see the bright side of coming to the USA because these two seem like they legitly want to get it on but have understandable concerns.
Fighting Vargas in the US, at any venue in the country, likely cuts the pot on the fight by 70%; turn up your nose at money all you want, that's a lot of scratch to leave on the table. (Beyond that, with Brook-Vargas being a decent fight, I have no doubt that Showtime International would pick up the broadcast for a matinee airing in the US).
Going from a unification fight at the 13,500-seat Motorpoint Arena (or even the 30k-seat Bramall Lane if the interest can be marketed enough) to maybe having enough interest to stage the fight at the Cosmopolitan is a big ask.
I'm saying that Bizier went to the UK, to fight Kell Brook, and made more money on that fight than Vargas has ever made in his life (considering the Bradley purse and the purse that he won for picking up the title).
Vargas has next to no pull in the US (no broadcaster backing him with money, and no venue to call home), so him trying to lay out terms for where the fight would be held is laughable.
Jessie Vargas doesn't have a fight in the US that would pay him even $1m; perspective should be kept in place.

Spence claims he's willing to travel to the UK. What happened with that?
Spence and his camp chose to take the extra fight to formally become mandatory challenger, rather than come over as a voluntary.
Is Danny Garcia an easier opponent? Last thing you want is to lose a decision in UK and now he doesn't have a belt.
Danny Garcia beat the breaks off of Vargas, but Garcia's camp would big dick the **** out of Top Rank during the negotiations for the fight.
Lou DiBella (Barclays Center) promotes the fight (unless MGM Resorts puts out a sizable fee to bring the fight to Vegas, which would bring Tom Brown/Mayweather Promotions into the picture), Top Rank gets sonned in a corner, and Arum's only contribution is bringing in his fighter to get their ass kicked.
You are putting a champion in the same category as Kevin Bizier?
This is for a unification not a bum mandatory -- common sense.

Should Vargas just go to UK if Kell won't go to U.S? Risky as if it goes the distance Vargas may not get the decision even if he wins clearly. He may need to fight a top guy to get respect. A win over a Broner or someone like Berto doesn't do as much for Vargas. Though Broner has a name.
I just don't see how Garcia, Thurman, & Brook are any better except that they are natural WW's. Its funny because Ali was supposed to be the next big WW thing remember? Remember people said Bradley was ducking him? Than Vargas KO's him and then Vargas gets the weakest link tag but its normal I guess, the Messican always gets the stepping stone label and they aint got no skeelz, I get it.
Who the hell was waxing poetic about Ali? He's done even less. The others are more proven because they have beaten at least one opponent at 147 better than anyone Vargas has faced.
Yet again, you bring ethnicity into the equation. It's clear now why you brought Broner into it. You've made assumptions about my ethnicity, expecting me to back him.
WTF does Vargas being Mexican (he's actually American btw) have to do with the fact that he just so happens to be the weakest title holder? You need to get some serious help getting over your racial hangups.
Broner? Why would you even bring him up? He ****ing sucks.
You questioned Vargas being the weakest titleholder in the division (he clearly is), by trying to compare his resume to the others. It doesn't stack up unfortunately, and that's saying a lot seeing how terrible Thurman & Brook's resumes are.

Sorry wins? Ok but i bet u think when broner did it they were great. Lol! I dont think u get my point, styles make fights. I think Thurmans style is all wrong for Vargas, i wouldnt bet on Vargas in that 1. But he matches up well against brook & garcia. Id place some $$ on Vargas against the 2 & feel safe.

And only one of those sorry wins occurred at 147, so explain again how his resume is the same as Thurman's or Kell's (who also happen to have sorry resumes btw).

Sadaam Ali (undefeated) KO win over WBO WW Champ
Khabib Allakhverdiev (undefeated) WBA/IBO Jr. WW Champ
Wale Omotoso (undefeated)
Anton Novikov (undefeated)
Antonio DeMarco (former World champ)

You still haven't answered the question about Vargas' best win. Are you seriously going to question anyone else's credentials when you're unable to answer such a simple question?

No problem.
Brook has gone over and taken a belt from one American, might as well double up.
This time brook shouldnt have to because he is a bigger name and the fight would probably generate more money in the UK. Hopefully this fight does get made
Top American fighters never travel.
And when they do these days they usually come to get beaten.
I don't know why the even ask the question.
Brook will travel for all of them. He has too.
Hopefully it will be in Vegas and or New York and not some city picked randomly and watched by 12 people in the arena.
Bradley would probably come over here.
Vargas isn't a too American. And the fight would make more money in the UK. If vargas ducks brook then he better fight Danny next
Yup because they are so proven at ww. Lets face it, all their resumes are about the same except DSG's, but I think I know why people assume Vargas is the weakest. To bad Vargas didnt have Luis Collazo and JoJo dan on his resume...
