First thing I saw when I came to the forums today, 7 threads with GGG's name.

I don't want people to get the wrong impression I really like Ward. I think he's definitely top 5 p4p but his style does nothing for boxing. The guys an amazing talent but casuals don't want to watch that type of fight. GGG is a foreigner and still gets better numbers. Ward should have it easier. If GGG were American @#$%!!!! He would be twice as popular over here and you know it. He would be your avatar :lol1: Not if he had the same resume as he currently does. But at least if he were American we, the boxing public, would have forced him to actually fight someone decent before his 35th birthday.

Andre Ward threads get tons and tons of replies on this forum too. Doesn't make them super popular by any stretch. 97k PPV buys showed that. At least here on boxingscene. He's polarizing for some of the same reasons Floyd was polarizing and for different reasons as well. Each guy was easily the most talked about boxer on here, although I would say that Mayweather is still king.
