Jermell is a top fighter. He'd beat Canelo.
The quote was meant to say ".. Fight against two top 154lbrs..." wasn't supposed to include the word NOT. I was saying they Are two top 154lbrs.
And no Charlo wouldn't beat Canelo. He'd get his Jet magazine model ass beat the **** down.
He'd be running like Lara soon as he felt that heat. Charlo is good, but he ain't on Nelo level. Neither one of them, Jermaine or Jamima Charlo.

Still don't know about this one, it is a outstanding fight and respect to the guys at 154 all fighting each other.
This Card on May 21 is huge for that Division. I lean Towards Jermall, has a excellent combination of Boxing Skills and a Killer Instinct. He could stay outside and pick guys apart like his Brother but Jermall loves to come forward and FIGHT and throw Bombs. Trout of course is more experienced and fought the better competition overall so I wouldn't count him out. Should be a excellent fight, probably should be the Mainevent to be honest with respects to Lara and Vanes
Who wins and why?
To be fair, Austin is more of a proven and experienced fighter.
Charlo was really impressive koing easily Brundage, great speed an power, but Brundage is by far the best guy he faced on paper.
Depending on what has Austin left and if he's still motivated.
That's an intriguing fight.
I think it's a great even fight with maybe an edge to Charlo because of his lightning fast hands, good power and killer instinct. Trout is a very good boxer who beat Cotto. It's refreshing to see Charlo defend his title against a top contender when so many champions are defending their titles against guys who aren't even in the top 50. Lara is also fighting a worthy challenger instead of an unranked and undeserving challenger that he defended his title against in his last 2 fights.
My gut tells me it's a huge mismatch is Charles favor, my other sense tells me it's a competitive fight again not two top 154lbrs.
I still think Charlo wins in mismatch fashion.
