Degale was obviously the better fighter of the two and showed his class when he wanted to. However, you still need to actually fight the fight and outside of 30 seconds at the end of each round, he didn't do that. 7-5 Porky, 6-6 is acceptable. I can't justify giving Degale 7 rounds. The judge that gave him 9 filled out his scorecard before the fight.
Degale's a queer. He was exposed by a "cave dwelling brute", I'm not even mad that Medina was robbed I was more annoyed by his post fight interview talking about "Levels", it's obvious has been watching Mayweather on the telly too much. You can't try to be slick in the ring and out and end up looking like you got jumped. He should change his nick name to Chumpy.:dead1:
Lol everybody laughed at him, hes become a joke quickly
Very true, I wish the same judges that were watching that Bute Vs Jack fight were the ones in charge for the DeGale Vs Medina fight don't get me wrong I don't think Bute won or drew that fight but I'm certain IF that fight was a draw I'm 100% certain they'd have had DeGale losing and rightfully so.

Making you look foolish is more gratifying than punching a poor novice in the face -- its more civilized and requires years of discipline...any fool (such as the one that I am replying too) can throw a punch but only a Master remains calm and handles a brute like Medina. Perphaps you are best off watching Cage fighters dismembering one another and choking each other the point of near death -- how disgusting.

Oh yes because you will win rounds by doing nothing but blocking and dodging shots but not returning the shot that's essentially what DeGale TRIED to do but look how well it worked out for him with his facial damage.
DeGale put on a half-assed performance and you want to stand there and defend the awful performance and call it masterful
Remember when people had a go at Floyd for struggling against Maidana?
Well Porky Medina isn't anywhere near as good as Maidana and DeGale couldn't even control the tempo or move on the front foot once in this fight he fought like a timid coward with no heart.

It was easy to score, all DaGal did was lay on the ropes n get punched, i gave DaGal 4rds, the rest was all Porky, ring generalship, aggresor, more punches thrown n landed,
Lol just compare the faces, even the crowd knew it, obvious robbery
Clearly you are ignorant of strategy and defense and disregard these facets as principles in scoring a fight -- Im sorry to break the news but we don't measure or credit heart and desire in boxing. Lastly yes you can win alone with defense but I wont waste my time giving you a history lesson because your tooooo dumb and stubborn.

Sitting there throwing nothing and getting clipped with shots with a guy showing all the aggression and instinct to make the fight is more than enough in most non-paid off, non-biased judges eyes something which helps them win the round.
Defensive prowess blah blah blah blah
You don't win a round by blocking or ducking a shot you win a round by controlling the fight, throwing punches and landing punches for someone who was blocking and dodging all those punches DeGales face sure as hell looked WAAAAAAY worse off than Medinas did but oh yeah everything DeGale threw landed and everything Medina threw were missing lmao you absolute mugwank.

I dont have enough time to highlight all the punches Degale landed ( in combination) on this neanderthal you fool. James Degale outclassed Medina offensively and also but most of all in defense. Nobody here can say ' Oh wow did you see that skill Medina demonstrated! what defensive prowess!' all he did was walk right up took three or four to land grazing strikes -- Stop watching chopped up streams and learn how to score you groupie ( Freedom2016).

DeGale ate some shots in that sequence and he landed nothing in return, throwing nothing and just blocking isn't how you win rounds idiot.

Most rounds Medina controlled 2 to 2:30 minutes of the round. Degale will go on a very good flurry but sometimes it was not enough for me to get the round.
But it was no robbery, it was a fun fight and depending what style did you like is who would you pick as a winner

I bet you cave-dwellers see this sequence and give it to Medina -- Why he no fight!! He ran! Hes a chicken! dats bullchit babe! ( Ruben Guerrero bastards out there) HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

He did win in that sequence. How many punches did Defail land? 7/26 is better than 0/0

Clean effective punches not sloppy picked off shots is how you score. Defense and actual skill displayed trumps any graceless attempt of offense that even a untrained peasant can execute without ever being in an actual fight. I pity you.
Rounds were close.... Medina probably didn't land enough really meaningful, hurtful punches to separate himself - fights like that always go to the guys who's suppose to win.
116:112 Porky on my card.
Close fight but I had Marcos Medana edging it on workrate.
DeGale landed the more eye catching combinations when he actually let his hands go but he didn't do it enough for me.
Medina pressed, he done a good job of controlling DeGale and trapping him and he was the guy who was letting his hands go for 2 mins 30 of every round.
I call bullsh*t on those compubox stats claiming they landed the same. Yh maybe true if we're suddenly not counting bodyshots.
He bullied DeGale in there.
