bro, nobody is saying floyd went to go talk to canelo in person. floyd has done interview before where he openly voice his opinions on what a fighter should and shouldnt do. i believe this is the case here. Ok so everybody here on this forum who keeps up with boxing religiously have never seen this interview from Floyd. We also never heard Floyd ever say this either. So I'm guessing Thurman didn't find this out from a youtube video.

floyd doesnt have to go talk to canelo face to face and i dont think anyone is implying that this happen. floyd has gone on record during interview and speak on other fighters about what they should and shouldnt do. i believe this is what happen here. Floyd talking to an interviewer is in NO WAY him giving advice to Canelo as Thurman's statement implied. The smarter thing would have been for you to find a Floyd interview where he said this and post THAT because quoting a stoned Keith Thurman is making you look like a fool. Floyd did not "tell Canelo", he told a reporter.

It is possible that Floyd said that but what was the context it was said in, and two Canelo can make his own choices unless part of the deal to get the fight with Floyd was that if Floyd won he now gets to control Canelo's career on the DL. So what does this even mean, other than Floyd like most people know that Golovkin would give Canelo the business.

Did he say "never fight Triple G, ever, because he'll beat your ass"? Or was it "let it build, you'll make a hundred million in 2 years" ? I mean, one of you guys that know Keith Thurman well enough to know that this is 100% fact, get him on the horn. I have questions.

the irony of a floyd fan asking for "proof".. It's not irony at all. It would be irony, maybe, if Floyd were asking for proof.
