He never wants to fight guys that want to fight him and will alway have an excuse , CW , too small , Not a big name , yet the guys are better than the ones he fights , maybe thats why .
GGG has been getting crap for a few months and his fans are whining, making threads, and acting like he is being mistreated and defamed. These same posters spent between 5-11 years doing the exact same thing to Floyd, yet never once asked for the madness to stop.
why are GGG can collectively so soft? Maybe a better question, why do they whine when they are subjected to the same things they did on a day in and day out basis since NSB came online?
The great boxers of yesteryear never fought their mandatories. It was a steady string of elite opponents for every bout, right?
You keep yelling Lara's name. but it doesn't ring out. You need more people.
And, I say all of this while being a fan of Lara's. However, to criticize either fighter for this matchup not happening, is shortsighted and dumb. They each have more interesting and relevant options in their respective divisions.
:lol1: "Monroe is more popular doe..."
Someone is butthurt I see. I don't give a **** about mandatory challengers. Fighting someone like Wade when you're supposed to be a top p4p fighter is a really, really ****ty move.
Fanboys like you always turn to businessmen whenever it's convenient.

Right. Clearly he should have refused the fight and gotten himself stripped of the title he just won.
Brilliant unification strategy
You are a troll or an imbecile. In the case of Wade, you do understand such concepts as mandatory challengers?
In Monroe's case, my original point stands. There is no demand for GGG/Lara. Just as there was no demand for GGG/Monroe. Only difference between the two bouts would be Lara's higher purse demands and superior boxing pedigree. Lara doesn't bring a fanbase with him, similar to Monroe.

There was no demand for a Wade or Monroe fight either. Why does Lara terrify you guys so much?

And critics like you always come back with lame one line put downs like this when I ask you to dig deeper than the capabilities of your 3rd-grade-level reasoning. Lara's had plenty of time and opportunity to force a GGG fight. He's one of the most overrated fighters in boxing. Go ahead and give me your pitch to GGG to take the Lara fight or even sign the lousy contract Ward offered. I'm listening...
GTFO w/ that weak side-stepping. You're saying the guy needs to officially change weight classes and go through hoops for 1 (one) fight. You just PROVED MY POINT that it's an ordeal for him. The lengths you guys go to in order to defend your princess. Wow.
Let me simplify this with 3 irrefutable facts; Genady has never has an opponent as good as Lara. He could take that fight and put a legit name on his resume. He has no interest in that.
That's all fine but you guys are hell bent on making it seem like every action that happens in his life is benevolent, heroic, and noble. No one else he interacts with can possibly be "right" or even seen as equal. Every decision his management team makes is with the most pure and heroic of decisions. He is without flaw. You have placed him in the role of a cult leader and you are his flock. That's just fking creepy.

Spot on. It's so ****ing creepy.
U obviously don't follow boxing, u prob read this hating bs posted by canela's worshippers. He has 3 belts no losses and all he wants is the fourth belt which diva canela has. They said it themselves (him n his coach) we are not chasing canelo, we are chasing the belt, which canela has and afraid to fight ggg bc he knows he is gonna have to give it up (n he just got it too lol) if cotto had the belt they would not give a flyin f*ck about canela, bc unlike canela, ggg cares about his legacy and not $$$ like canela, bc ggg at least has something going for him once he gets the fourth belt from canela it will be him n Hopkins unified champions in their division, plus all those consecutive knock outs and title defenses, ggg is focused on setting records right now and NOT $$$, unlike canela who is only focused on $$$
GGG accepted a step aside fee from Cotto for the very belt that you claim that he wants so badly. Maybe he is about the $$$...sorry to burst your bubble.

Cry about it. There doesn't need to be a sales pitch. He's a much better fighter than anyone on his resume so far, or in the near future. The Canelo fight is unlikely to happen, and even then, he's not exactly far removed from Canelo.
I concur to most you wrote , I cant agree on the mandatory because Wade did not deserve to be one , Bunce of Box nation said if GGG refused that fight they would have just ordered Wade into an elimination bout , I dont believe they would have stripped GGG he is too hot property at the moment and Wade was just a total nobody the backlash would have hurt the IBF .
Can't comment on that. It may be true, but I'd guess he'd still have to deal with the IBF mandatory in the near future against the winner of the elimination. With Canelo and Saunders not happening, it seems likely they just decided to get it out of the way. It's a shame T Johnson couldn't fight. Either way, it's more on the IBF than it is on GGG. Golovkin was pretty respectful of Wade, and Wade put on a good face but it's clear he was in way over his head. Props to Wade for accepting the fight, but it wasn't fair to either fighter involved. At least GGG made it quick.
I'd expect Wade to be the last opponent of his caliber. We can debate the resume as it stands now all we want, but GGG has 3 or 4 good years left and those will be the ones that define his legacy. It needs to start happening now. If he wants the belts take them now and move on. I can accept a stay busy fight here and there if he's still fighting 3 or 4 times a year, but he's got to start collecting belts or scalps that are worth something. I'm not asking him to cave completely to other fighter's demands but he will likely have to travel out of his comfort zone to get the guys who bring the name and/or the money. I believe he knows this.
There is no contradiction in this case. He's been clear about unification. I don't care what some of his fans are saying. If unification is his goal, he's done the best he can with the lousy cards he's bean dealt. I have a feeling this will resolve in a month and we can move on. I agree, he needs bigger fights and better comp. He seems as frustrated with the situation as the true fans of the sport are. The Wade fight should've never happened. On the one hand the IBF should be commended for enforcing the mandatories...in an ideal world it's what they should exist for...so no one fighter become bigger than the sport and guys who deserve a shot get a shot. On the other hand, the IBF should be criticized -- Wade was in way over his head. As someone who's followed GGG since before he came to the states, it's frustrating to witness the arc of his career. If he were 5 years younger it'd be different. Consequently, part of me has grown impatient and wishes he would abandon the belt quest, just tell his team to shut up, and start giving interviews in Russian. Maybe take a cue from his pal Kovalev.

What he lost was face with another glaring contradiction , in that he projects this extreme urgency to get that belt and fans use that as an excuse to not take other very good fights while waiting to get a shot at that belt , he was paid peanuts to step aside thats a complete contradiction on what is being portrayed by him and his fans .

I agree with many of your points, the Rosado reference is valid because several GGG fans have dismissed the Lara fight completely because he is at 154, that's where Rosado was too. That's why I bring him up but again you can rebut that argument by saying GGG was at an earlier point in his career but I will say that Lara is the best at 154 so it's still a worthwhile fight. Many times we see a good fighter from one division move up to face the best in the next. I agree with most of what you said but I don't think Lara needs to earn a GGG fight... Guys like Monroe and Stevens didn't earn their shots, let's just settle on the notion that both sides can do more to make the fight happen. If it doesn't you won't hear me saying GGG is ducking, that's a ridiculous notion in my opinion.
I see. I think it's great that Lara's willing to take the fight at 160. Just don't see that as enough to get GGG to take the initiative. He's not going to be a priority unless he's got a belt or is a mandatory. If those fall through for GGG, then sure. But, I'd still like to see Lara take on GGG after a win over a Jacobs or a guy like Tureano Johnson. His track record at 154 doesn't lead me to believe he can make it a competitive fight against GGG. An impressive win at MW could change that. Right now, the best we can hope for is that he KOs Vanes. It would be a start.
As I responded earlier in this thread...What did GGG lose by stepping aside? Cotto was NEVER going to fight him and I don't blame him. So, GGG stepped aside, gave Canelo a chance to take the belt, and took Lemieux's IBF title instead. Is that not unification? Canelo wins the WBC belt and wants an interim bout...GGG agrees, can't secure a fight with Saunders for the WBO belt, and consequently takes care of the mando he inherited with the IBF belt he just won so he won't lose it. Is that not unification? Now Canelo gets 2 weeks after the Kahn fight to decide whether he fights GGG or hands him the WBC belt. Either way, is that not unification? If Canelo vacates, GGG's team is looking at WBO champ Saunders first, then Jacobs who is essentially GGG's WBA mando. Is that not unification? What am I missing here?

Most all of the extreme, irrational hate comes from 'stans of other fighters. Maybe I should've simply referred to them as haters. And, yes, Fury/Klitschko was awful. I'm a GGG fan, but I'm more a fan of reason and logic. And there are certainly valid criticisms than can be made of GGG and his management. But they need to be put into context both in terms of the realities of the business side of boxing and the timeline of Golovkin's career. For example, what exactly does Rosado prove in regards to GGG ignoring Lara's tweets for a fight? That fight was over 3 years ago - his second fight on HBO. There's no relevant connection. in this thread, I've presented several quick and fairly simple ways Lara can push GGG for a fight. One of which would've had Lara fighting GGG instead of Wade. If Lara'd wanted it, it's there to be taken. He did nothing but tweet and yet GGG takes all the blame for the fight not happening. That's not a rational position. It's that simple.

Gennady accepted step aside money which was peanuts to the fight money so much for all he cares about is the belt , pull your head out of your ass you might see a bit more .

A Stan has nothing to do with who agrees or disagrees, a Stan will not concede anything negative about their favourite fighter. There are many stans.... I was arguing with a Fury Stan who wouldn't concede that Fury's fight with Wlad was extremely boring, that's a Stan. Any GGG fan who thinks he can do no wrong is a GGG Stan.
All that other stuff you said is off topic, I never said GGG is ducking Lara, I can CONCEDE that said statement is incorrect however I believe he can make more of an effort to make the fight.
