sad part is the only reason he got past it cotto as an opponent is because they fed him to canelo instead of golovkin who was given step aside money so you can't really count that win for much in this context i guess tthat leaves a razor thin decision over austin trout or tie with lara as his best win. what a resume!

Cotto. Cotto had many believing he and Freddy brought back a killer. But this "killer" barely even hurt Canelo. If Cotto would've won, "he's a beast and can beat Mayweather", but since he lost it's "he was old and past primed and undersized"

I'll say "Cotto", even though it was a close fight. Alvarez has gotten better in recent years. He should stay away from Golovkin if he wants to avoid a KO loss. His team is wise enough to keep their money boy out of GGG's path.
