The landscape of boxing has dramatically changed and the young pups are going to have to fight it out to see who the next big dogs are..who are the fighters you expect to rise from the pack and rule?
I do not see a PPV star anytime soon.
I agree outside of canelo,
What we are in now is the era of the PPv "fight" instead of "fighter"
PPVs will now be built around competitive fights instead of a fighters drawing power..
Ward-kovolev being a prime example

I think the winner of Nelo/GGG in the fall will carry the torch for boxing until the young guys come up.
Those young guys IMO are Verdejo, Valdez, Spence Jr,
Well PPV wise the clear successor is Canelo. AJ and Golovkin could both probably sell a decent number of PPVs if against competition they could reasonably lose to. AJ probably has more momentum after picking up a world title. Crawford could be on the come up in this department... we'll have to see how he does on PPV if his fight against Postol is in fact made and ends up on PPV. Garcia and Verdejo are people I think could potentially sell PPVs in the future.
Outside of them, talent wise I thought Oscar Valdez looked really good against Gradovich. Haney will get opportunities by being affiliated with TMT, and he looks to have potential. Roman Gonzalez might be a factor for years to come. WW and SWW both have several people who could conceivably breakout if they make the right fights and win.
Unpopular pick: Andre Ward. I thought he had a decent amount of buzz around the Barrera fight. Ward/Kovalev could be big and if Ward wins as I imagine he will, he will probably lead the p4p lists until retirement.
Some other young fighters that have looked decent so far: Maciej Sulecki, Jack Catterall, Murat Gassiev, Masayoshi Nakatani, Ievgen Khytrov. Not sure if I believe any of them will be big names per se, but you never know.
Man there are so many potentially promising fighters, it's hard to whiddle the list down.
Oh but I can't forget Leo Santa Cruz. Nah just playing, he's a bum. :dead1::dead1:
Fighters who I think will stay doing good from here to 2020-2022...Canelo, Ward, Thurman, DSG, Golovkin, Zurdo Ramirez, DeGale, Walters, Lomachenko, Crawford, some guys at 154, Fortuna, Frampton...too lazy to keep typing names to be honest.
