Hopkins maybe by knockout. But to be safe, MD or UD. Canelo gasses once you get up to round nine. In other words, he's not sharp and game in the later rounds to compete at the best of his abilities. His power is also vastly overrated. He's not a power puncher. He's a boxer, pure and simple. He doesn't raise the bar to physically destroy his opponent. He just does what he needs to do to stay in the lead and not get ballsy. His biggest problem is he's too flat footed. Meaning if someone wants to rip shots on your face, your giving them more of an opportunity to inflict more damage. If felix couldn't do it, then Canelo definitely can't. Felix was lighting fast and light on his feet. He couldn't implement a winning strategy with Hopkins in the course of the fight, where Hopkins just improved

Prime Hopkins is bigger, better, faster, stronger. There is simply no way in which Canelo stands a chance.

From what I can remember, Hopkins was one of the stronger middleweights during his time there as far as strength goes and was able to move around on feet pretty good without having to plant his feet too much when throwing. This alone is why I would easily favor Hopkins to beat Canelo quite comfortably. Canelo to me would not be able to muscle Hopkins around and wouldn't find really any opportunities to sit down on his punches while being in range. Factoring in the fact that Hopkins has about 5 inches of both height & reach on him makes me think that there is a possibility that Hopkins might just bully him in the ring so to speak.

It would be much worse why?? 1-They said "PRIME" Hopkins 2-Canelo is smaller then Pavlik with less reach So which Hopkins is that? What fight? Wow so being smaller with less reach automatically makes you a lesser fighter?
