Let's say supposably - you let Paulie give you a free shot to the head. Do you think he'd knock you out? I only pick Paulie because he's known for below average KO power and very light hands. This question could just have easily been about some other similar boxer with little power.
A lot of people talk about boxers who are "feather fisted" etc...but what makes you so sure you'd stand up to that of a Professuonal Boxer?
- yes, I'm bored and it's almost 1am and I don't have anything to do...
If I let him punch me on the head, while not being in a defensive stance, while he is allowed to load up on his punch, then yes, he knocks me out and the same would happen to everyone else in here.
In a boxing match, though. I wouldn't be able to beat him, but he would never knock me out, I weight around 95-100 kilo and I'm around 2 meters tall, pretty fast and skilled.
If a free shot of course he knock you out. If he is fighting an above average amateur he would stop him due to exhaustion or doctor stoppage. obviously more than 4 rounds.
The University of Manchester did an experiment with Ricky Hatton, and the result was that he hit more than 10x harder than your average man on the street.
If Hatton hit's more than 10x harder, you would have to assume Paulie might be around 2x or 3x harder than the average at least. Don't forget technique plays a major part. Their technique will generate more power than the average person can.

Great read!
Most definitely.
Wimp! :joke:
This thread is silly, you give any professional fighter a free-shot at you (i'm talking a full-blooded shot) and your going down. having feather fists in the professional game means nothing if he's hitting someone with little to no training.
Mayweather actually broke his nosse. Not the best example.
Lol was just about to say this, I don't think Floyd even meant to hit him and he broke his nose.
He'd probably make me do the chicken dance and even knock me down. I doubt he has the power or technique to knock me out unconscious.
I have 20 amateur fights though and i can tell theres nothing in paulie's shots that can knock a guy out who has experience.
He has very brittle hands. He'd break those hands before he knocks me out.

And The Big Show at 7'0" 450lbs is not exactly your average joe, maybe it's the boxingscene poster average, but irl average is actually 5'10" in America. That is a bad example all around. Mayweather who was retired at the time probably weighed in the high 150s, at 5'8". Really, just a bad, bad example..and he broke his nose anyway.
