How does this guy fight?
Will he go to war with AA or is he skillful enough to bag the rounds to get an easy UD? A la Ward, Froch, Dirrell (before the DQ)?
Very excited for this fight
I think he could stop Abe. Abe can't keep up with Zurdos workrate and length, barely hurts anyone at SMW, and can't.take it to the body. This guys goes to the body hard and often
Ramirez is very raw,, I think he will start fast, abraham will start slow and plodding as usual. It will be interesting to see if Ramirez slows down in the 2nd half of the fight after a quick start and if abraham can mount some late offense. Abraham can really test ramirez's chin if he can find him late..
Ramirez's keys to to victory will be to stay active but don't over do it and gas out.. Abraham is a very slow plodder behind his high guard, similar to Joshua clottey, so if Ramirez can just keep active, Abraham will stay shelled up and won't get off effective shots
Ramirez is good but lacks stamina and that is an issue for him since he throws a lot of punches. He is also the typical Mexican who will not hug even if he is being hit hard or on the verge of a KO. Abraham has more power and stamina.
i think his defense is poor, he seems like he's pretty easy to hit from the fights i've seen. abraham is such an awkward puncher and has a lot more pop in his shots than anyone ramirez has fought. he might do ok in the early rounds based on activity and abraham being a slow starter.
i likw abraham by KO. interesting fight, probably the one im most looking forward to on the ppv.
His last few fights have left me disappointed.
You feel the talent is there and he could do much better but for some reason he doesn't.
In short he reminds me of Anthony Dirrell.
Hope on the big stage he can find a way to perform against a good but past his prime fighter.
I think he is overrated and I am picking Abraham to win most of the rounds and knock him out within 9 rounds. He is an ok fighter but Abraham is better in my opinion.
southpaw, big for the weight, decent chin.
problem is he lack's power.
Im hoping he UD's AA, as i want to see the new blood...I think he outboxes AA for the most part, but he gasses in some fights. and if he gasses in this then AA will stop him late.
No better time to be facing AA though so ill be rooting for zurdo.:boxing:
