After winning the world title against Porter he has fought several bums , and defeated another bum tonight, how ever that's it for his soft touch/ milking the title since winning it!! now no more bums!! The fans want you to step up your competition and fight a top 5 Welterweight..
You can nitpick things & act like it is, but in reality it isn't. Sure Brook is more talented boxing-wise. Sure Brook has arguable fought better opponents overall (WW is a tougher division so thats all to be expected) & for sure Brook has fought the best opponent (Porter over Stiverne), but its hard to avoid that they both got moved carefully for a long time (6yrs for Wilder, 10yrs for Brook), got title fights vs big jump ups in opposition & have since taken fairly unimpressive challengers on in defense of their belt (JoJo Dan, Gavin & Bizier vs Molina, Duhaupas & Szpilka) which I like to call on the job training.
No it is just totally inaccurate.
Wilder has been moved very slowly, despite being with a powerhouse promoter as well as fighting on big shows from very early on. People have craved more from Wilder, and the money to fight bigger opponents has always been there. But even now the opportunity is not taken.
Brook whilst always had the talent, has never really being held back. They wanted to fight pacquiao in 2009-2010 for free. This is according to his former promoter who constantly had him fight on small shows against crap opponents because he didn't want to put the money up. Brook is the finished article. He's in his prime and has been for some years now. He is thirsty for a huge fight and has been trying to get it.
It just hasn't been possible for whatever reason. Wilder on tinge other hand does not want big fights or at least hasn't wanted to for the first 7-9 years of his career.
It seems now though that he's moving toward it.
I see Brook as a Wilder-like guy. He was moved ultra carefully for a long time. I still remember that first Carson Jones fight where he was life or death with Jones. He got positioned into a world title fight vs a legit guy. Won the fight & now is doing some on the job training like Wilder has been doing despite them both being "champions". Unfortunately for Wilder WBC mandatory's are a lil more respectable than IBF mandatory's.
Quite possibly the worst comparison ever.
I'll start supporting Kell again when he leaves Eddie Hearn and joins Al Haymon
I find it really hard to support Eddie Hearn's fighters and the mismatches he serves us.
Thankgod Degale partnered up with Al

The Jones fight was what made him get serious.
People act like it wasn't a beat down until Brook gassed, he was literally battering Jones around the ring before gassing. That was a crucial moment, as Jones found out in the rematch.
He's a completely different animal.
