current WRONG news vs. old CORRECT news. Stop reacting to WRONG news. Rafael is not an official source. Done. What did he tweet that was wrong? Wilder is flying back to the US, the fight isn't happening any time soon, and Povetkin cheated. Everything he tweeted was accurate. So you're the one who's wrong. Deal with it.

Don't matter the time. You have one guy at ESPN claiming the fight's off, and numerous other sources saying it's not decided and assumed to still be on. It's shades of the MayPac negotiations all over again. I don't know that it is or isn't cancelled, but I'm less inclined to believe one guy who's been wrong before at this point without an official statement from WBC. Yes it does matter. It's called current news and old news.

We're all waiting to hear something. My opinion, they are discussing what to do with the B-sample. If they test it and it's positive (which it will be), fight's off. If Povetkin's team offers enough money to Wilder's team to ignore the B-sample, the fight will probably still happen. Win-win for Wilder at this point really. Win and pocket 5.3M and a win over a top HW that is also juicing. Lose and pocket 4.5M and the loss is disregarded because it happened vs. a juicer. I agree with this. If I'm Wilder I'm not passing up millions of dollars. push for 80% of the purse.

They'll pick it up. They've been negotiating forever so Showtime has everything in place to air it and Ryabinsky isn't gonna turn down $1M when he's already gonna lose millions on the fight. I can see how Beyonce can win this. Povetkin is good but Wilder is much bigger and actually fights tall and long which might cause Povetkin problems with him being a fairly small heavyweight. Oh the other hand, Povetkin is far better than anybody Wilder has fought and it's a game of levels. If he shows the amount of amateur flaws as he has in a lot of fighters, a guy like Povetkin is good enough to expose it. It's an interesting one. I don't understand why some people calling him "Beyonce". I mean, Beyonce got thicker legs than Wilder
