Fuck Chick Fil A...for being closed on Sundays :D I was craving for it one day until I found out they're so religious that they're closed on Sundays! Wasted my time and gas driving to local mall foodcourt. That happens to me all the time. I get the urge to go grab a Chicken Deluxe with some waffle fries to eat while watching an NFL or NBA game and then it hits me that they never open on Sundays. Pisses me off. But you gotta respect them for conducting business according to their principles. Yes - a lot of companies try to do the right thing, sure. I'm not saying they don't. But my point is that having noble aspirations does not make you righteous. You have to take a deeper look at a person or company before you start sanctifying his/her/its thoughts or behavior with words like "righteous." Your certainty that having good, religious people at the top of an enteprise spreads down to the rest of the enterpise is just a tad bit naive. Having noble aspirations doesn't make you righteous but if you try to live everyday by those aspirations then it does. There are a growing number of companies that attempt to do just that....it's not only about making a profit anymore. They try to make that profit in a principled manner. As far as I know Chick Fil A is one of those companies. Never heard a bad thing about them (apart from the gay lobby.)

Whether it be organic, non-GMO, dolphin safe, or numerous other initiatives you will find many businesses who are trying to make a profit while still being good citizens of the planet. If Chick Fil A tortured their chickens or kept them in dirty, abusive conditions then they wouldn't be a righteous company. But I doubt they do that though, usually when the founders of the company are good religious people that ethic spreads from the top down to the rest of the enterprise. It killed Duck Dynasty regardless. Those guys went from on top of the world to nowhere to be seen. That and the show got boring. I used to like it but after 3 seasons i was done and that 3rd season i didnt even finish. Not even sure if its still on

I remember this. It was about 2/3 years ago and they received pressure but decided to stick with them but did it very quietly. Sent out a small 3/4 sentence long explanation. We use UA for some of our clients promotional marketing and when this went down i had a few who refused to use them, didnt ask why but knew it was related. Thats stance has softened cause its a great product. If Pac does get them then awesome for him but i would be surprised if they take a chance again on something like this.
