One of the most realistic and brutally honest boxing channels out there today, Mainman Mademan, seeks an explanation for Mayweather's reluctance to face Amir Khan and leans towards the most self-evident answer given the circumstances surrounding his 2 year swerving of Khan as an opponent.... ducking.
So there we have it.
I am an amir khan fan but seriously leave it. ....floyd is gone so move on. ..why chase a shadow
Secondly floyd being the a side by a long distance can choose his opponents like no other. ...and whilst i agree khan deserves a shot as much as anyone khan had to go about winning the fight more intelligently than he did and khan didn't do that, floyd was never gonna get convinced with khan's approach
Khan wouldn't have had much chance. He's fast, but predictable. Garcia and Algieri were able to time him.
Khan might be fast and rangy, but he makes amateur mistakes. His foot speed would be negated by his poor footwork. Khan leaves himself wide open when he punches.
Since when do you need power to trouble Khan? Ancient Julio Diaz and Algieri troubled him.
Algeiri couldn't time Khan he timed him once or twice and landed good shots but for the most part couldn't do it his success came from forcing Khan to brawl and fight inside where Khan has no confidence but he still lost the fight quite clearly
because it would have been a tough fight. floyd doens't have power and sure he can potshot khan, but khan will have more volume and make him shell up/do his little crouch into a ball thingy over and over. kenny bayless would be like hey floyd that's some good cheating

spot on
its funny watching these cunts make many different excuses to why Floyd ducked Khan

khan should have realized all he had to do to get a floyd fight was beat josesito lopez
Whatever that means bro.
Everything I just said, really happened.
Gbp was lining khan up for that fight in 2012.
Peterson and danny ****ed that up
Khan never held a title at 147 and that cost him. He didn't want a risk taking on L so he wasn't as active as he should have been and didn't get his shot. i don't think he beats Floyd but he would have given him problems.
Floyd fought Ortiz, Maidana, and Guerrero because they were easy fights and he could pick up a paper title doing it. Khan should have been chasing guys like Porter and Brook in order to get his shot.
Khan vs Mayweather was supposed to happen in may 2012 according to oscar de la hoya. Google it.
All floyd had to do was beat ortiz and khan had to beat peterson.
Floyd won, khan lost.
Floyd went on to fight cotto. Khan was supposed to rematch Peterson due to the controversy and if he won the rematch then the floyd fight was supposed to be next. The fight was rumored for December 2012.
Peterson tested positive for peds. Fight got canceled. Khan fought garcia instead and got knocked out.
Khan lost back to back fights and his shot at mayweather.

Khan was too high risk
Floyd would never live with himself if Khan took his "0", he saw something in Khan which he didnt fancy
Floyd picks boxers who he is 100% confident he can beat, he has an eye for what works for him
Khan is a horrible style match up for Floyd, even if Floyd beat him, he wouldnt look pretty doing it and at this age it would be a draining fight.
Floyd fans and Khan haters can lie to themselves as much as they want, but Khan would have pushed Floyd to his absolute limit .
I think it is lame how Floyd ducked Khan

Maybe because after getting call a coward by Khan about a thousand times and hearing Khan say how he would beat him he didn't feel like making Khan a fortune by fighting him. Maybe because Khan runs, clinches, holds and pushes a lot he didn't think it would be an exciting fight. Maybe because Khan hadn't done much at welterweight. I know you want to hear Mayweather was afraid of losing to Khan but I don't believe that. Mayweather fought Canelo and Cotto and they are both much better and more dangerous fighters than Khan as Khan will soon find out.
Khan is a fuking bum ass C class fighter who's been knocked the fuk out more than once, who's been dropped by lightweight bums, who can't fight for sh1t. The idea that Mayweather, the greatest boxer of this generation, ducked this fukin Khunt is a total fuking joke.

Any Floyd beats any Khan at any time.

So there we have it.
Mayweather should have fought Khan, I actually believe due to Khans stalkerish antics Floyd didnt do the fight. Khan is fast but he hasnt been impressive in a while. Floyd would have caught him and hurt him most likely giving him a possible KO win for his "final" fight. Berto was just a joke fight, Bradley would have been even better opponent than Khan but he is a high risk.
Real talk; if someone offered you the choice of two jobs, one cleaning a yard and one cleaning a sewer, you will always avoid the sewer. Kahn is the shytty sewer no one wants to get near. He makes your work day suck. He runs, clinches (headlocks included), pushes, pot shots, and plays at the edge of the rules. No one wants or needs that shyt.
It DOES NOT MATTER if he could beat Mayweather (which is always a possibility) because that's not the biggest problem getting that fight made. It's that no one (except for someone trying to make a name, like Brook) wants to fight a guy who tries to steal a fight, especially when they don't bring any particular financial incentive. The 'old Kahn' was a great boxer but as his chin became an issue he resorted to fighting cheap and, as I predicted over the past 2 years, no one wants to bother with him because of the way he fights now.
Since when does Floyd give his opponents $10 million?
:bs2:
Floyd doesn't offer a huge payday, Canelo got $5 million
Khan would have got $2 million and truth be told Khan would have fought Floyd for free, he was that confident he could beat Floyd
Pacman and Canelo offer a bigger payday than Floyd, so miss me with that payday argument
$5M guaranteed. If I can recall, he took home $7-9M...his biggest payday. And you know damn well he wouldn't have done it for free. He was calling to fight Floyd wayyyy before it even looked like he was eligible and likely could have if he didn't lose overlooking Garcia and turning in **** performances after. He could have rematched madania and it would have been a better look. But sitting and watching for the better part of 3 years this guy beg when he had done **** at 147 is laughable to dismiss. Give me one good reason why he wouldn't fight Brook, arguably the biggest fight in the UK
Khan prob woulda got the fight if he didn't sit out and fought Alexander when people actually wanted him to.
But you really need to let it go. Hopefully khan will still box after the canelo fight
